Parents are suppose to protect there kids not harm or scare them for life.

The fact that so many parents are allowed to put their kids in the worst of situations, but still feel entitled to respect, is precisely why so much molestation and abuse go unaccounted for. If my parents had let me get molested, abused, or had neglected me emotionally or physically, they'd deserve no respect. I've never understood why respect is two-way street in all relationship EXCEPT the relationship between children and the people who are supposed to LOVE children the most--their parents.

Me either! I've never talked back. My dad was in the home yet he was absent he was screwing prostitutes around my mother's back. My dad made good money. He was a dog yet he remained with mother. My grandmother really raised us because mother worked too outside the home. Grandmom whipped us. Everyone has something in their lives that was rough.
