I grew up on him on Night Court. Loved him dearly and still do, may he RIP. He is missed.

What a lovely man. He and Liberty Larson spent an hour in my studio once while touring with "Oleanna", and I only broke for commercials -- he was great. Funny, self-effacing, quick as a cat, and a ton of fun. He and I had been talking about getting older before we went live, so I introduced Libby first, then said "Oh, and I see you brought your grandfather with you!" He responded "So that's how it's going to be!" and we just went after each other the whole hour; Libby was in stitches. Great memory.

@skeetlejuice522 I'd be lying if I said Harry Stone didn't have a hand in raising me too.

I missed that his wife taught him this the first time I watched it. Undoubtedly the music distracted me. I absolutely love the Funeral of Queen Mary from A Clockwork Orange.

well after hearing the music i’m wondering what a Kubrick-directed Night Court episode would look like…😂

The bottom line is that there is nothing obvious about how he managed to pull it off. Otherwise you all would be revealing instead of speculating with your guesses. Only thing thats obvious is that WE DON'T KNOW! Mystery looms over this demonstration just as it loomed over the man who inspired it. Daniel Dunglas Home. The only person Houdini could never debunk! Thank you Harry! Job well done!

I am guessing there are concealed holes in the table top that he places one or more fingers in...All that sliding the palms over the table top at the start are to uncover them....

I was half expecting some futuristic gangsters in white clothes to come running out on stage after the performance and start kicking the crap out of everyone. [Clockwork Orange music]

This is definitely not Losanders. It's from Owen. I have one that's identical.
My wife won't teach me how to do it. Lol

The being able to spin it is a dead giveaway of a mechanical connection to his lead hand.

he fiddled with it too much; it was obv he was adding some gimmick in the process of his setup. (I assume its the flange under the sleeve bit.)

I would go with a very strong magnet in the palm of the hand, as you can see a dark strip under the center of the table when he twirls it about.
