It was third time Pentagon's members covered this song. So, i couldnt help myself from laughing. The cover is fire ofc. Still, third time... I remember how Jinho said during RTK that Hui doesn't need to do all covers by himself. Now I see how much Jinho itched to do it. 😂 Poor baby enlisted a week before that epic performance of kill this love on RTK...
Anyway, they were amazing and honestly nothing after this one could compare. Rearrenging rap parts into incantation was brilliant and elevated performance even more. The traditional part was wild.
Still, third time 😂 I want Shinwon's comment on the matter bc he is always most reliable.
Jinho's voice really is so amazing, he can make any tone of music his own... My God, what a special being inhabits such a wretched world!

Thanks again, friend! This performance was totally them and I enjoyed it, though I saw some who did not. Also saw the other teams got signed so hopefully Crezl gets an agency too. I had no idea the concert was an actual tour. I thought it was just two days in Seoul, but turns out it's nationwide. Hopefully Jinho is there for all of it, but CUBE has been silent on a comeback so seems likely he'll have the time. Anyway thanks again! Really appreciate you doing this for us geoblocked fans!
When Cube was not quiet about comebacks? Though Kino said about preparing something and Yanan came to Korea for something in The middle of competition.

my two cents on the possible reasons why some ppl didn't enjoy this perf:
1. Crezl's goal is to showcase collaboration among 4 entirely different genres and emphasizing their own strengths without conforming to just one. Crezl's performances, just as described by one of the judges, is refreshing and new to phansing which makes it understandable how some aren't ready/used to such changes and that's okay. that just proves how brave, unique, and legendary this group is.
2. Covers of popular songs aren't usually well-received when drastic changes are made because that simply isn't what people are used to. They usually expect that it would sound similar to how they know it.
Overall, I hope the best things for Crezl in the future. I hope they continue making and performing music that are able to capture and move people's lives. Crezl fighting!
Yea the Live version wasn't able to capture the all atmosphere. Many of the audience in that hall were posting on the internet afterwards that Crezl Kill this Love was by far the best performance of the night.
And I agree. Phantom Singer (PS) Audiences are mostly people who are 40-60 years old that prefer classical genre. But Crezl has been really shaking that up with a more performative/pop/musical style performances which may be hard for conservative phantom singer audiences to wholeheartedly support. Nevertheless, Crezl's "radical" style was much needed in this program after 4 PS Seasons that was becoming "too boring" with the same, typical Italian Classical-CrossOver Repertoires.
@@30xi84 I don't think it has to do with the audience not liking pop songs. Phantom Singer All Stars exists and all the performances there were so well received. Also, there are a few quartets formed that lean towards pop music too (Forestella being the best example).
To be honest, I have a very negative opinion about Crezl that I won't share here, but it makes me sad because Suin, Kyuhyung and Seungmin are actually my favorites from the season, and their sound was developing so good. I was rooting for them.
I hope they can work on their sound because right now it is all over the place. Chaotic/innovative/pop performances doesn't mean they have to be messy.

Idk, i like that they bring out different genres and they are not glued to the floor. Though I expected for them to do acapella for finals. I think an acapella stage would suit them a lot. They suprised me.
Crezl's strength lies on their ability to highlight each other's own colors but I also that think the "edge" they chose to have is to explore/perform a more varied genre of songs.
They did exceptional with Faith, esp with that being the performance with the highest score in all phansing history. It's just really hard to actually judge this performance when it's drastically different from what Libelante and Fortena performed.
I am also aware of the criticisms on how Crezl focuses on "performative" songs instead of the usual "vocals" but Seungmin himself said that they can of course do vocal performances as well.
My assumption is, they just chose to be different and unfortunately, people aren't ready for such changes or at least, that just wasn't what the audience were looking for.
I actually do wish to see them perform more vocal acts in the future and see how much they would still improve, especially their harmonization. Then, that just means we have a lot to look forward to in the future! and hopefully, they would be given the support to continue.
@@foremingyu i think the accoustics for this round was so poor that it affected performances greatly. For example during episode airing i had to shut off other groups' performances as sound quality was unbearable. Crezl was least affected for some reasons.

In my opinion they only won 3rd place because they couldn`t find their colour in the short time they worked together. Alone they are all brilliant in their field. They have amazing strengths, and an invigorating vision. They just need to work on the details, of how much of personal flavour they should pour in their performances. Because if you put a lot of everything the end result is not cohesive. I`m looking forward to their future endevours. Fighting!
They lost to more popular group. Please remember that Phantom singer is classic singing based.
(i haven't checked comments in a while aaa) they have improved their sound a lot now, which is great! I'm curious about their sound in original songs/studio versions, so I'm looking forward to their new album (that hopefully they'll announce soon since they joined an agency recently)
Still don't get why Crezl stages missing from official channel. Mnet sure put Kill this love covers for global audience.

@@foremingyu mnet has no problem with putting up kill this love covers at least 4 times. I haven't counted how many times it was covered on it's live channel. Jinho's stage of can't feel My face from Pentagon maker (2016) is still up. I am not talking about other performances but it doesn't feel right.
