- G'day everyone, we went to Docklands in Melbourne to check out the very first Costco in Australia before it closes and the new store opens in Ardeer.
We got to try a few samples, saw some specials and had a nice lunch in the food court. Thanks so much for watching, make sure to like and subscribe as it really helps out the channel a lot.
I never miss your videos, like the way you narrate
Please try to post one video everyday
WOOOW!!! Soo EXSPENSIVE. Thanks for sharing..
Keep the videos coming, love them!!
"Mince budget" is gold! You're doing better than me with my Costco roasted chook budget 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
We often go to Costco Docklands when visiting my sister. We'll have a cheap lunch at Costco when playing tourist in the CBD. The Costco in Ardeer will be much closer to her house, In Melton, and I will drive there, but not much further into the city. There has been talk of a new Costco going in/on the block where the old Bunnings was in Melton.
Two days in a row, woohoo.😃
Another great video! Loved that you had hubby visit for the first time. Did he enjoy it? The fudge sounds delicious too!
He did enjoy it, especially the lunch and the free samples 👍👍
Another great video. I would love to see Air Fryers if you see any on a visit sometime Cheers
If I see any on my next trip to Costco I'll pop them in the video 👍😊
Lol Ardeer of all places
The city will miss cosco for sure 😮
We actually popped in to Docklands yesterday for the first time as we’d been out ice skating. The carpark, lift and crowded store felt very hectic. I prefer my usual Epping store. Maybe I’ll see you there one day! 😄
The Malaysian curries look good.
I've heard that Docklands can get crazy busy on the weekends. I think I'll stick to Moorabbin but I'd love to visit all of the Victorian stores too 😊 The curries did look good, but I'm such a scaredy cat when it comes to spicy 🤣🤣
In New York in the Food Court they have soft serve ice cream. My wife wouldn't get it for fear of getting addicted. My son did try the chocolate and said it was one of the best tasting chocolate ice creams he he ever had! Me, I still want that aussie pie! BTW, ice cream is only $2 or $2,50 with a topping like chocolate syrup or strawberry sauce.
I love the ice cream in the food court but they rarely have it in stock. School holidays starts next week here so I'm hoping they have it then when I take my son, he loves it too. 👍👍 Thanks for watching 😊
Oh .... did not know it was closing !
Docklands closing 😢 and Ardeer opening 👍
Diwali is name of an Indian festival
Diya means lamp
Thanks for the info 👍😊
I can hear you and hubby very clearly, no headphones and radio on in the background at normal level, and it's on my phone, maybe that person either turn the volume up a bit,or wear headphones. Shame ,that costco is closing, it's at a beautiful location. Bugger the wheel is closed as well. With this site,at least all the samples disappear in a blink of the eye.☀️👋💕from Perth, WA.
👍👍 Yes, it was weird (and nice), having samples just waiting there on display, not like the other store. Thanks for watching 😊
loving your videos! i recommend getting one of those little microphones because there is a lot of background noise and we can hear other people talking in the background too.
Thanks for watching 😊 not sure I could figure out how to work it, took me ages just to figure out the Go Pro 🤣
Most of your videos I find have very little background noise...especially how noisy Costco is
The snowman family is supposed to be 179 or a tad more on their website. They mislabeled that tag. The nutcracker is about $350
Thanks for the info, did not no that. They can mix up some prices sometimes. Still a bit too pricey for me. I'll stick to my 15 year old Christmas tinsel 🤣🤣
Hello, when you’re at Costco in Moorabbin next, can you please check out the olive oils including where they’ve come from? Many thanks
Yes, I will do that this week. Olive oils are getting so pricey lately, will be good to see what Costco has at the moment 👍👍
@@GoodyYumYum thanks so much. Olive oil is so expensive from the supermarkets to the delicatessens. Really appreciate it 🙂🙂
So I need to save $349 at least for that family of 4 snow family soooo cute! I am not as familiar with Costco but surely will be once I do an initial shop. These items like the snowman and things how long do they stay there for sale, is it a weekly thing and I should hurry and get my butt there or so that have them for a few weeks/months. How does that all work? Also these larger focus items are they the same “release” in all Costco, I am in QLD
@sonia15702 yes we have an Aldi not far and get the think we like from there. Costco seems to have things I haven’t seen anywhere else and for items we like buying in bulk can save time and money
Best thing about Costco for me and Mum is seeing lots of products that you don't see in the other big stores. But it is best to do a bit of research before a trip to know if you're getting the best price at Costco or not. We have a few items that we only get at Costco but also shop at the other stores as well. The Christmas items should be around for a while (there's still a long time until Christmas). But eventually when they sell out they will be gone for good. I believe that most of the specials that I show should be at all stores as I see the Coscto specials advertised on their Facebook page But I'm really not sure. If I ever get back up to the Gold Coast I will have to visit the Costco there and make a video. Have fun, let me no how you go 😊❤
@@GoodyYumYum thanks for that really appreciate it. I understand that not everything will be full value and we buy bulk in Woolies for half Venice etc as well and Aldi. Just was excited to see a diff variety than the usual stuff the last 30 years. Ideas and snacks that we don’t always see. I will def let you know how it goes :) it’s like Costco is an excuse for me to “stock up” perhaps once a month or few months lol
I showed your videos to my family and made hubby watch (but he liked) lol and now we will take a day off together to go in a couple weeks :) Keep doing what you are doing and say hi to your mum and we will def try the hot dogs and drink! What a bargain
Hi from NSW...can you tell me the camera mic set up you use as there is so little background noise...love that as I know how noisy costco is at the best of times 😊
Hi 😊 I just have one of the older Go Pros, I think it's a 7 with no extra microphone attachment or anything. It does the job, and I no how to use it which is good enough for me 👍👍 Thanks for watching 😊
As always ❤ Did hubby enjoy himself ?🎉
He did, he especially enjoyed the lunch and the free samples 😊 oh, and spending time with me of course 🤣

The layout of the Ringwood store is a bit different again to Docklands and Moorabbin.
My new goal now might be to visit every Victorian store 👍😊
