    The beat distribution is only true for 4/8 measure. In 2/4 it is divided in half.

      In 2/4 measure: Slow equals 1 beat, Quick equals 1/2 beat, And equals 1/4 beat

      @@EgilsSmagris Exactly. This had me tripping in a dance teacher examination. I had to count out beats in 4/8 and then in 2/4.

    Is it permissible to use qqs for the whisk and tap at the end of the chase?

      Whisk, Step Fw, Tap in PP - allowed alternative timing is QQS.
      For Whisk, Close, Tap in PP - allowed alternative timing is S&S.
