- The QB Battle may not have a clear answer as who will be the starter but one thing that is very clear is how good this Raiders defense has a chance to be in 2024. We will discuss the defense, and why I believe they will be special. Thanks man speak truth about how big Raider D will be! There’s very few NFL Offenses @ this point in the pre season. That could stand up to these guys! Think about it.. This Raider 1st D win dominate out of the gate. I’m just waiting for great offense play come Saturday! The Vikings’ 1st D isn’t going to show our offense anything nearly as dominating or as suffocating as they’ve seen this whole pre season. I think they’re going to take it out on Minnesota Saturday. Defense can pick up what the offense is doing because they see the offense EVERY DAY. A joint practice could help the offense get some confidence, play against a defense that doesn’t know what they are going to do every play! That D is sniffing out pass or run every single play, because they see it every day.
This defense will be formidable but it would've been unstoppable with Jalen Carter instead of Tyree Wilson. Maxx-Wilkins-Carter-Koonce, ooh wee look at that line up.
Most of that draft is looking pretty good you win some you lose some. Tyree is versatile he’ll keep the line fresh Mr. T will not be reaching on picks as seen in the draft. The future is bright!

I hear the concerns about the offense and I laugh, because the defense is suffocating. I think we all will relax once we see this offense attack a different defense. The two QB's aren't nearly as bad as everyone thinks either because the pass rush will do this to most QB's. Once we see them literally lock down some great offenses we'll understand this should've graded on a curve.
That's also my thinking. They have the toughest challenge this whole off-season. The defense isn't getting enough credit in a way. It's THAT outstanding.
I agree. I think the offense is going to sputter a bit to start the season because they are getting no taste of success in camp. Or it could go the other way, they might blow it up because they won't see many defenses as good as ours once the season starts.
Offenses not being able to produce against good defenses is still a point of concern.

We have to remember that our defense will be going against far better QBs as well. I'm not sure our defense is being properly tested. Maybe we should've did a scrimmage
I've been saying it for months now Aidan O'Connell is our franchise QB. The blueprint for us to win 🏆 and make the playoffs is the same as APs Championship Giants and Baltimore Ravens championship team. Elite defense and strong running game. The Giants won two superbowls with Eli Manning and Trent Dilfer for the Ravens. AOC can lead us into the playoffs behind the elite defense.

What if the Raiders use a 2 headed monster at QB ...depending on the game or who has the hot hand...or as a change up ...a defense will have a lot to be ready for.

Our defense only has to be as good years 72-85-74-75-76-77-78-2001. Miami Chicago Pittsburg Oakland Pittsburg BALTIMORE. EVERYONE OF THESE TEAMS WENT ON TO WIN THESE SUPERBOWLS

Don't matter how good the Def is if u don't have a QB. Remember DEN had strong D, before they finally went out and got Payton Manning for Super Bowl. U have Mahomes and Herbert in ur OWN Div. U better do something. Each yr is another yr they're wasting Mad Maxx
Maybe they should of have scrimmaged against different team that might not have as good as a defense as ours because ours is making the offense look horrible and we're trying to solidify a starting QB.

I know that the NFL is a passing league, but it seems that every time they lose, the other team runs wild over us, while shutting down our running game. You still need to play run defense and I haven't seen it yet.
It’s a slow evolution. Mahomes made it a passing league with some help from the NFL. But as defenses evolve one way new offensive strategies may shift a different way. It’s a constant cycle every decade or two the game changes. Getsy can lead that charge but I’m not sold on him yet at all.
But look at the Defense they p!aging if there that good I think slot in the NFL will have troubles scoring on the Raiders!
