Thanks for this Brennan I auditioned for beast morphers and didn’t get a callback, looking back on the audition tape I sent in I knew I wasn’t ready yet. But I’m gonna try agin this year! I’ve been going to the gym more and practice my craft!

I always to be a hero just like Power Ranger I been watching a lot of series and I'm enjoying it so far
I may not be the best actor, but I know many friends who are open and willing to try new things. And we all dream of being out there, suiting up and saving the world on TV.
What many people don't realize is the behind the scenes work. How a lot of the cast is trained for their roles before the cameras start shooting. Mainly because people skip over existing PR episode that explain the process. See the RPM episode, "And Action". People don't want to ruin their fantasies.
But, sometimes they make new ones.
To anyone who's going to give themselves a self-taping and try the audition process for the next season of Power Rangers, I have this to say: Good luck, do your best, and may the power protect you.
Haven't watched yet, but in a single answer. YES! I've spent the last two years losing weight and trying to maintain, and attempting to improve my cardio. But I desperately need to learn some skills outside basic tkd kicks. 😭
PanzerPanda even knowing some weapons like staff which I’ve seen someone do it dancing is ok to do and even dancing or gymnastics
I know I cant join but its cool to see other people join and keep the power ranger line going
Thanks for the pointers. As a beginner level actor, I always see myself as a Power Ranger ever since I was a kid. Hopefully, down the road, I can be come one, or... if be a voice-over as a main villian.

I think I'm a bit old for it now (25), but I still want to gain all the physical skills to qualify. Your videos on the gymnastic skills recently have been invaluable as those are the sorts of skills I have the least access to training for.

Brennan Mejia Well I don’t have the skills at the moment, so if it happens every two years like you say, maybe I’ll be ready by 27. I do have an exceedingly young face when I shave.
@@BrennanMejia I think is a time to be ready to become a Power Ranger I'm really good at skills even physical skills like Karate I don't do go to gymnastics only if Video Games I went to gain more power to qualify to gymnastics like physical moves
I may not have gone to college or acting school yet but I would love to be a power ranger. If I did became a power ranger then I would be first Japanese descendant to be a power ranger. I have been thinking about taking some martial arts classes too.
I may not haven't gone to College in Cardiff Vale College Dumballs Road but instead of that if I did a Power Ranger

This is the vid I look forward to every two years. Hahaha. You're like the ONLY Ranger that takes time out of his day to actually lend insight to auditioning for Power Rangers. I think it has become easier than ever to find out about them and find a way to get your foot in the door, but most people are fans and aren't equipped for the audition life, so it's nice to see a Ranger vet give their 2 cents on the matter. Always much appreciated, Brennan!
...now I just gotta find a way to audition for a voice role in the show, haha. I'm a terrible on-camera actor, but I've been doing voice over for several years now and doing ADR for PR has been a dream for forever. I'm just bummed that having an agent or not will probably be make or break for me getting an audition. Oh the actor's obstacles. xD

I want to be a yellow ranger but too bad the Ryusoulger adaptation in 2021 doesn't have a yellow ranger.
But I am not athletic even in the slightest but I was a white belt in Jukido Jujitsu twice (financial issues stopped me from progressing a couple of times)... although, I wouldn't be a good actor (I never acted) and I'm a shy introvert. I may be 27 years old but I still look like I'm 16/17.
If I were to audition for a Power Rangers season (which would never happen) of a Super Sentai that hasn't been adapted yet, Zyuohger, Kyuranger, and the upcoming Kiramager have male yellow rangers but as a gamer like myself, I would fit as the Yellow Ranger version of Kirama Yellow.
This will be my second shot auditioning, last time I was so nervous during my tape so I'm taking the mistakes I made last time and improving myself

No you have to be a real martial artist an a black belt to be on that show
DHR 2 Productions That is very much not true. Quite a few past Rangers have been master martial artists, including a good amount of the early season Rangers, but quite a few had little to no experience. Some of them were experienced in other things, such as gymnasts or swimmers. Just as long as you are physically fit and can be taught some basic martial arts for unmorphed fights, you can plausibly audition. Not saying you WILL be cast, but you don’t need to be a 10th dan black belt or anything.

I wish I could audition but I heard it’s gonna be “Private Casting” meaning invite only or representation from agents, got any advice? Or is there any way you can help? Ah, I wish. I fit all the criteria, including some past martial arts training, except for the fact that I’m laughably unfit. Like, I have an athletic body type, but I myself am not athletic at the moment. Bit of a dad bod, tbh. Maybe I’ll start working out soon and audition next year or the year after. I’m still young enough that I have time.

I am a fan of you Brennan
So first you are one of my favorite red rangers, because one red’s my favorite colors and two you were awesome in Dino charge, Super Dino Charge and Beast Morphers. I been a huge power rangers fan for 20+ years and my dream has always to have been to a power ranger on tv or be in a table top rpg power rangers series. The reason I always wanted to be a ranger is to morph, to wear a power rangers suit/helmet. To call a zord and form a megazord. To be a role model to all, because to teach people always stay positive, follow your dreams and never give up/you control your destiny, where anything is possible if you follow your heart and you believe in yourself. So I just want to stay thank you for tips to being a ranger and maybe one day Savage Sal will become a power ranger and team up with Tyler Navarro that would be awesome!

1) We might have to wait for our turn to show up in auditions if our self tape is selected, so do we have stand in line or sit in chair outside or inside in Auckland?
2)After sending video tape if we selected then how many rounds of auditions we need to go?
3)How physical ability is tested in auditions ie what physical activities they want us to perform?
4)What we have to do in each rounds in audition as far as I know first we need to send video tape if selected come to Auckland then what happens exactly in 1st round, 2nd round till last round?
5)If there are two colors for females like ninja steel has pink and white, suppose if someone got white ranger role but she wants to do pink will makers agree?
6)Is one martial art is enough to learn for audition, if it is which one will you recommend?
7)If we are auditioning in Auckland will makers provide us place to stay or we stay at hotel till auditions?

Saloni Komal i only know the audition process for LA, but they do usually hold them in NZ as well. I had 5 total rounds of auditions personally, but usually it’s less
Saloni Komal you don’t choose which ranger to be, they pick for you, and you only go to Auckland if you book the role or happen to be an Nz native :)

Brennan, has the deadline for the self tape submission been extended due to the coronavirus outbreak? The initial deadline was Feb 27, but I was too overwhelmed with the outbreak to realize that. Can I still submit my self tape :( hopefully it's not too late.

my favourite power ranger series is power ranger dino charge and i love it though ninja steel was my firat series to watch dino charge was my second and favourite i watched it like 3 to 4 times and i will continue....
