An old Turkish saying:" When a clown moves into a palace he doesn't become a king but rather the palace becomes a circus." That is the story of the ANC.
If Zuma goes all alone with MK without ANC its a very good thing, this will make it even more difficult for Ramaphala ANC to attempt coerce IEC to assist them cheat. ANC is down on the door mat everyone stepping on it & its good.
What matters is the inside and how you unravel the political intricacies for us. You could be providing this podcast in a cave we will still tune in . We appreciate you Dr.😅
Nothing stays the same. MK has always been in the background. Let them have a chance to see if they've learnt from the ruling party's mistakes. Maybe people will have an alternative political home
Great analysis. Appreciate the brief over the holidays. I see a coalition engineered between the ANC and DA by funders. Blessings to all South Africans for Christmas and the New Year.
Zuma, instead of relaxing with his grandchildren is resorting to desperate tactics. How old is he? 80 +. He is behaving like jealous school kid now. Why can't African presidents retire gracefully.?
@@nelsonchinasamy9857...what's happening is bigger than that. A revolution is at stake and everyone is aware of it. That's why there's so much movement, politically.
I'm trying to understand why the ANC seems to treat Jacob Zuma differently than their other leaders. Whether he's innocent or guilty, it's confusing that they're not supporting Mr. Zuma like they usually do for their leaders. It's like they're saying, "We can criticize you freely; just don't show any distress, as tears are reserved for traitors." Surprisingly, the ANC is now expressing a desire to engage with him, even after subjecting him to repeated incarceration. This pattern raises questions about whether their actions are tied to his alignment with BRICS rather than the powers of the UK, America, Bill Gates, Oppenheimers, Ruperts, and Cyril Ramaphosa. Jacob Zuma, during his presidency, showed a strong commitment to advancing the interests of black South Africans. Despite the treatment he received, he refrained from privatizing government assets. His term witnessed the rise of ordinary South Africans to millionaires. Additionally, he introduced crucial initiatives like BEE, BBEEE, and free education for all. These policies significantly benefited black South Africans, reflecting his dedication to the well-being and prosperity of the nation. It's impressive that Zuma not only defended black people but also took steps to ensure a fair and prosperous future for everyone in South Africa. In doing so, he left a positive impact on the nation's journey toward equality and prosperity.
We all know and knew how good he was so telling south Africans that was 9 years wested when you haven't done anything to prove otherwise let the people in tears
He has remained in a rural area with his constituency. The 2030 national development plan left with him. Rural Development saw rural infrastructure growth. We lost friends, families and associates to HIV/AIDS prior to JZ's presidency period. He bravely participated in BRICS, that is part of decolonising SA.
Please do more of these, so long as the quality of information is accurate, I love the production on your big videos. The more information the better this is so much more than content.
Thanks so much for the consistency Dr Mpofu-Walsh even with a demanding Job in the SABC you are still able to have time for us , your constituency. Thanks for leaving no stone unturned on this matter. this is a very in-depth analysis video online
Zuma has always been smart even when he was still president and I will give him that. Zuma was able to borrow R200 billion from the IMF and bailout all parastatals on that money and pay police and nurses hefty bonuses. Ramaphosa borrows R700 billion per annum and announce that there is no money to pay even public servants. So Zuma knows how to run things. No surprise he was able to design this plan and it will work.
His strong relations with the BRICS block make him my automatic choice. With West on the wrong side of things, I think he'll enable a lot of infrastructure development projects and I know he'll tighten the screws on BEE again. I never thought I'd admire a politician so much.
@@Tinker8531 We pay tax every month the same way we did under Zuma.Check SARS collection has improved four fold than it was under Zuma and IMF borrowing is R700 billion per annum unlike the R200 billion per annum that Zuma used to borrow and the country was busy. What do you see now?

Hi Doc, please do a series of episodes where you and your favourite guests try to to do an analytical forecast where you envision what SOUTH AFRICA 2030-2035 could look like based on our current trajectory. From these perspectives: - Politically - Economically - Socially - Technologically/Infrastructure - Legislatively - Environmentally It could be 1 episode with Gogo Aubrey, an episode with Jamie, etc.
It was a great emergency episode Doc. I might suggest that you also try to bring leaders who are leading small parties like your PAC, COPE,UDM and Good Party etc. Just to know what is their view about South African politics, economy and the welfare of us as South Africans. How will they take South Africa to progressive and prosperous times if were to vote for them👍.
This is very alarming and it could have serious political power instability. Which could break the country in half through the infighting of the ANC. Also it's clear Zuma has mobalized already inside the ANC to unseat the Couch Dollar President
You are correct the MK party will not have any impact. The biggest beneficiary might be the IFP, KZN people always revolve around those two parties. Any party that is not a child of these two rarely does well. Duduzane Zuma might be brought in to represent the MK Party. We will wait to see if this will be a boost for them, but history has taught us that South African voters are very stubborn they would rather not vote than vote for just anyone. Overall, I think Zuma is in for a surprise, some people do not follow him because of his surname but his power struggles in the ANC, i doubt his supporters in the ANC will follow him, there are more benefits for them in the ANC than anywhere else.
True he doesn’t have much influence as he used to do. ANC will make sure that they destroy him soon. They mite leave him now because they need support in Kzn then after elections they expelled him that’s my view what do you think
You make valid points Bhungane. However, the political landscape in South Africa and globally is extremely unpredictable especially now that politics has been infiltrated by white capital. For leaders it's all about the stomach. We wait and see. Time will tell.
This is what I've been saying for a long time. It's a missed opportunity for opposition parties. They are not appealing let alone resonating with discouraged ANC voters which are it's base. We have lazy opposition parties who have no interest in engaging the electorate on an intimate level. All they care about is shouting in parliament while receiving their fat salaries every month. Politics is about attaining power and wrestling it from the incumbents.
In my view, ANC are to blame. They defended Zuma and Mbeki through controversies. ANC was supposed to follow its founding principles rather than elevate individuals above the party.
We need an episode that explains policies of EFF and if they are realistic, last thing we need is removing ANC to only end up being like Cuba .. how can we trust a leader that says they wont trade with EU when China and Russia as big as it is still trades with the EU

Your input is correct. Mr Zuma has a deep plan about what he said yesterday.. let's wait and see how things unfolds and plays out .
His strong relations with the BRICS block make him my automatic choice. With West on the wrong side of things, I think he'll enable a lot of infrastructure development projects and I know he'll tighten the screws on BEE again. I never thought I'd admire a politician so much.
That is an oversimplification real life. Zuma is just a desperate old man, there is nothing smart about gambling
Zuma had to lend after he stole the coffers dry.. Mbeki did not have to borrow, he instead built an economy.
