It was abandoned for years! Once my friends purchased it, they started bringing in a few supplies. They will hopefully have it renovated by this time next year 👍🏼
It was probably hard to tell in the video, but it was bigger than it looked and partially frozen to the ground. Looking back at the video, I would have thought the same thing though 😂
100 percent! It’s secluded yet accessible, and a beautiful oasis to escape and relax. I can’t wait to see the transformation because this place is already magical!
Haha turns out I may have needed that quick getaway with the wolves 🐺 howling outside the cabin at night. I had a few dicey calls going over trees on the way in, I was so close to the cabin so I thought I better not push my luck!
Haha I know the owners, I mentioned it in the video. My friends recently bought it and found it on the property, so I thought I’d stay a night there before they do any renovations! Thanks for tuning in!
I thought that too! But realized it was completely enclosed from the outside and the only way to put wood in there was through a small half door accessed through the cabin. That’s why I was thinking it was an area for the hunting dogs to sleep :)
I for sure could have! I was very close to the cabin though so it wasn’t too much of a hassle. My truck took a beating making it that far on the trail, I didn’t want to push my luck! 😅 😂
It very well could be! The only thing that I didn’t mention is that the door leading out to it is very small! A normal size person couldn’t get out that door easily, let alone with wood! Thanks for tuning in Mike! 👍🏼
I grew up in a holler in West Virginia and we heated our house with a stove just like that. It had an electric fan on it to distribute the heat better. I've jumped off the school bus many times to go in, grab a T-bone steak out of the freezer and fix it on top of the stove. Thanks for the memory of hearing my Dad loading up the stove so we wouldn't have to get up to a cold house.@@DingoMakes
I spoke about this in the video 😉 I had permission to be there, as friends purchased the property and discovered an abandoned cabin on the acreage that they didn’t know about. They will be spending some time fixing it up this upcoming summer!
I love this kind of adventure…especially an overnighter! Enjoyed it thx! 😊
Thanks for tuning in! 🌲 ⛺️
Such a cool property and spot!
Agreed! It’s a hunters haven, or a good spot to escape and relax 😌
I wouldn't mind having that cabin. I would definitely do some work to it and live in it.
It’s a beautiful spot! I’m hoping to post an another video in the future once my friends have renovated it! Thanks for tuning in 👍🏼
Enjoyed this….have a good day
Thanks for tuning in, have a great day as well!
Looked like a cold adventure. Thoroughly enjoyed your video. 0:02
It was a cold night, but a beautiful one! 🌲
Gryffin is the cutest little muffin
He’s the best 🐕🥰
The top of the stove raise up. They’re a good stove and if you had electricity it has a fan to blow heat. I used to have one back in the ‘90’s
Oh cool! That’s good to know! The place has electric all roughed in, for a generator I think. Thanks for tuning in and letting me know!
Looks well stocked to be abandoned

Taking another look at that fallen tree you could have move it out of the way
Looks interesting
Thanks for tuning in! 🌲🏕️
You could have cooked on top of Woodburn. The top lifts up. I cooked Thanksgiving turkey on ours.
That’s awesome! I had no idea! Thanks for tuning in 👍🏼
Why didn’t you drag the small tree off the road and drive to the cabin??
I was thinking the same thing. I would have drove right over.

Nice cabin Danno! Methinks it would make for a great Airbnb getaway no?

stew looked fire dingo
Thanks amigo! It was very tasty 🤤
Grew up w a wood stove like that and it will run you out in an insulated house at least.
at exactly 18:57 when the dog starts crying you can see two entities one in each of the glass on the front door.
Well that’s spooky!!! 👻
You Sir know how to live.
I would of went over that tree with my jeep cherrokee lol. Besides don't know if I needed to make a quick get away better than running on foot lol.

a Canadian Cold Military sleep system will be ideal.
That’s good to know, I’ll look into that. Thank you!
I couldn't go into someone's place. Is that your place? Just wondering 🤔
Did you watch?

😂
@@marypatt1 because it was abandoned on the property, that’s why :) they discovered it after purchasing it and exploring the land.
Don’t let the wolves 🐺 eat your Dog
They would have to go through me first!! 🐺
Where did he get the food
Gryff had his beef while I ate dinner as well! I tried to film it, but he ate it so fast 😂
Probably for wood storage.

It would be a bit draughty to say the least.
Unless it was a makeshift conservatory 😂
@@gillc9773 Haha you got that right! 😂
What does Dingo get for dinner???
He ate his beef and food so fast I couldn’t get it on film 😂 🐕
Dude….you couldn’t drive over that tree?!!
I for sure could have! I was very close to the cabin though so it wasn’t too much of a hassle. My truck took a beating making it that far on the trail, I didn’t want to push my luck! 😅 😂
Wood shed right out side of the wood stove, not dogs.

Easy to see you didn't know how to use the wood stove correctly
I’d love to learn more, I’m ready for your constructive criticism!
