- A tribute to my treasured Portsmouth and the university. Portsmouth (/pɔːrtsməθ/) is a British port city primarily built on Portsea Island in the county of Hampshire. It is also known as Pompey, a nickname shared with HMNB Portsmouth and the Portsmouth Football Club. The United Kingdom's only island city, it is 70 miles (110 km) south-west of London and 19 miles (31 km) south-east of Southampton. Portsmouth's population was 205,100 in the 2011 UK Census. The city is part of the South Hampshire metropolitan area, which also includes the city of Southampton and the towns of Gosport, Fareham, Waterlooville, Havant and Eastleigh.

Dear Matt, Iam very interested if you could be able and willing to do a 4k DRONE footage above the Garrisson Church fields around and also the grassfields near the Rose garden behind the Castle near the Southsea?
Also drobe above the sea and beach and grass paralel nex tot the old Royal Marines BArracks Eastney. Its all for me historical footage to compare WW2 bombing 1940 and trench defences. especially on a hot summer you would see the difference in colours of grass.

St Marys hospital east side grounds had beautiful gardens and land now concrete, St James hospital had vast amount of land and used grow they own food etc, now its concrete with more to come, Eastney ex MOD the old firing range is in private hands with plans for luxury houses waiting for the green light, even gardens and little spaces have been filled, so enjoy what little green there is left in Portsmouth because its going.
