This is an enormous "sperm" from Mars. Humans extracted it from Martian soil and cultivated it in space. Named "Calvin," this Martian organism has cells that each contain muscle, nerve, and photosensitive systems. Calvin can rapidly grow in an oxygen-rich environment compared to Mars. Initially, the astronauts were thrilled by the first discovery of extraterrestrial life, but this excitement soon turned to terror.
