    I am Greek, and I am so glad that this material is finally being taught at all educational levels. I teach this to my own classes. Ancient Greece owed so much to Black African culture. Herodotus himself wrote of this with so much admiration and pride.

      @@CrowdPleeza That's because of the many invations that took place, starting with the Hyksos in 1730 BCE, the Assyrians in 661BCE, the Persians in 525BCE, the Greeks in 333BCE, the Romans in 26BCE and the Arabs in 639AD to the present. We are talking about a civilization that started long before 3200BCE, a date agreed upon by Egyptologist because they didn't want to go beyond the date of creation that was stated in the Bible, 4004BCE. What created the most confusion is the changing of names of people, places and things in and around Africa to European names. The defacing of sculptures and monuments is another thing that has created the situation we find ourselves in today.

Here in the Americas we spoke Uranic/Atmaurean/Moorish Latin(Classical Latin), Kem, Arabic, Caanite/Moabite, Phoenician, Hebrew, English(Bruttium) and German(Holy Roman Empire),etc.

    This brother is Fire with that truth, Ta-Seti, was a kingdom however that had something like 5 Golden Ages people don't understand Egypt is Johnny Come Lately and is the grandchild of the those Black Nubians/Kushites as a matter of fact the reason why Egypt was able to strive as quickly was because the great Scholars, Builders, Engineers, Doctors, Mathematicians, Philosophers, and Preist came from Nubia, and the Great Lakes region to Egypt
    Actually the only thing Egypt is considered more advanced than those Nations before her is because of the writting system in which it was documented on the walls.
    Don't trip Egypt was all of that, but it was indeed a babe in the birth of an established culture. As the Nubians had her by at least 200 years
    When Egypt declined the people moved West, hence you see Mali, Timbuktu, Songhai come into prominence.

    I thought before i watched this, that it would be about the early Egyptian super-genius Imhotep!! He was like the Isaac Newton or Aristotle of his time, and was revered by the ancient Greeks as almost being a god. PLEASE do a good episode on Imhotep!! Thanks in anticipation.

    • @cush5147
      @cush5147 4 роки тому

      Why would you use Aristotle and Newton as an example for Imhotep who clearly was above both men intellectually and he lived thousands of years before both men; is it because you know that he was a black man and so it was easy for you to still attempt to give them as equal of importance to this black man!

      @@altareggo Imhotep should not be compared to any modern day intellectual as no one can compare to his former intellectual mastery; He, like the other ancient Egyptians, (meaning Kemet which is what the blacks called their cultural complex but the term Egypt was a Greek name that was given to these Northeast Africans at the tale end of their dynastic periods) had to go to school and obtain extensive learning and training for 45 years so yes Imhotep has to stand alone in regard to being compared to his present day peers.

    Cheikh Anta Diop is credited with inspiring much of the new research that is discrediting the centuries of Eurocentric Orientalist research (Said, 1995). In particular, Khpera (2000) has proven that the Greeks considered philosophy as African and foreign did not authorize or supervise any work done by Aristotle. In fact, the Greeks persecuted Aristotle and Plato and executed Socrates for even exhibiting the qualities of ancient African mystical teachings (Adu-Asamoa, Barima, George G. M. James, Ph.D.).

    Ah, some of my teachers have made the claim that because of him and this accomplishment of his that you detail in your video that Kamit was able to ruled by male kings ( Patriarchy) but who ruled was through the mother's line of children of her female descendants (Matrilineal) like most African Kingships thereafter . Before that Narmer faction of Upper Kamau was Patriarchal and Patrilineal (Kings chosen by their descendants lineage from the father.) like European Kingships and the lower Kamau were Matriarchal (Queen Mothers ruled) as well as Matrilineal . When they unified he married the Queen Mother and a compromise was reached. At least this is what my teachers research said. Some of this is in Kings and Queens of Kamit by Ra Un Nefer Amen

      @@papeabdu2289 I am African too, but I think that it is not ramasire but the inverse, rather " Mansare" or " Massire" which are indeed west African names. But, yes I do agree with you as far as the deep connection between West Africans like Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso and Ivory coast Nations and the Nile Valley. All you have to do is look at modern African names like Ba, Ka, Sankhare, konate, sankara and many others. These are authentic Egypt nubian names and even royalties for some. Yes I agree. I think that this is the point... human civilization is the product of mutual influences...from agriculture, to construction, mathematics, guns, etc. , each step came based on a previous step. I don't know what do others learn in school, but when I learnt History of my country it always starts with the Fertile Crescent, Ancient Egypt, and Ancient Greece. Civilizations influenced each other, I don't think there are cases of just one direction of influence.
