You are really helping me:) Thanks! I needed to hear this. Sometimes I am the commanding kind of parent:( It is driving a wedge between me and my teen. I have a hard time watching someone hurt themself, not take advice, then complain when they are hurting so I try and command him to see things my way, it obviously doesn't work. But I also can't just give up. He is almost an adult so I am almost out of time and I find myself getting more commanding:( Anyways, Thanks!!
