- We have been saving animals for almost 200 years - take a look at how we got here in 'draw my life' style!
Did you find out an interesting fact about the RSPCA in this video? Let us know what surprised you in the comments below!
It's amazing, how much you guys really care for wildlife. I find the RSPCA so inspiring and I would love to work for you one day... Thankyou guys :)
This made me really happy because of what you do to help save the animals from abuse and things and I am also going to join the rspca when I'm older because my love for animals and it also makes me happy to find out that I could've possible saved a life and me and my mum are also going to adopt a cat from here since my other one ran away and he hasn't come back for almost 3 months. It's also amazing how you've helped animals for over 200 years because I never knew that's how long you were helping animals for so that really shocked me!
I also want to say thank you for all your help with saving the animals because it really warms my heart when people do this kind of stuff :)
Thank you for your support :)
Going to keep up with these! ❤️❤️
Soooo lovely..
Thank you all for protecting animals.
But how can I get membership card?
Thanks for your support! You can find out more about membership here : www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/becomeamember
You people at the rspca are amazing at what you do. It always kills me to see a mistreated animal. Animals always deserve anoyher chance and yoy deliver that. Hopefully I will join when im older. Keep up the hard work
Hello,
I've noticed on your website that you have removed the minimum recommended sized hamster cage and replaced that with the phrase 'as big as you can afford'.
Assuming that the hamster in someone's possession has no special requirement for a small cage etc, what dimensions would you say should be minimum (in centimetres)?
Hi there,
We no longer list housing dimensions for small animals as we feel it is the quality of the space provided, as well as the quantity of the space, that is important. We have moved away from stating dimensions as there is little evidence-based information available and instead take an outcome-based approach.
In the wild, hamsters can cover large areas. Therefore, pet hamsters need plenty of space to be able to perform all their natural behaviours. Within an enclosure the hamster needs to be able to perform behaviours such as storing food in a larder, exercising, burrowing, climbing and nesting. Their environment needs to be interesting and stimulating to prevent boredom, and it is important to provide enrichment such as toys and items to chew. Items should not take up so much room in an enclosure that they prevent the hamster from performing the behaviours described above.
Okay, thank you for replying!
Awwww!! Thank you so much for protecting animals!😍😍🐹🐶🐱🐰 i've been to one of your shelters to look for my friend's missing kitten and I could tell all the animals were fed and looked after really well❤️❤️
