Nice! The width and offset look perfect!! If it was me, I would have gone for a wider tyre and thicker sidewall tyre for a more meaty look. But I guess it depends how much you're planning to lower it as to if that would work.
Nice wheels. I recommend changing those lug bolts… they’re the worst lug bolts ever. I’ve had issues with them before and it wasn’t fun. I’ve had at least 5 of them break off and I had to drill them out. It was a nightmare. You can read more stories on google from other people who had fun dealing with seized long lug bolts lol. Get some short regular lug bolts for it to avoid any issues.

I need tires and noticed I have been buying 16" tires instead of 17" . For the last 10 years . My mechanic that checks my breaks never said anything. I buy my tires from Discount . I give them my year & model and they give me some options. Should I be staying with 17" ? I purchased sets in year 2013 & 2016 . I drive very little, I'm 3 miles from work. Appreciate any feed back. Thanks.
17 tires only fit on 17 rims if you had wrong tire size it wouldn’t hold air you probably have 16in rims stick with 16 tires
Where did you buy the wheels from and for roughly how much? Ive been looking to find some for my R129 as the previous owner had some replica lorinzer wheels that dont really fit the car.

Any advice on determining offset for new 19" wheels, on my 98 SL500? Every video, and every forum trails off into algebra, calculus, quantum multidimensional astrophysics, and loads of bullsh*it. I just want to put rims on my damn car. All these extra considerations seem unnecessarily complicated, and give me second thoughts about even bothering with it.
Try going on fitment industries and put in your car and the wheel size you want it’ll show you the offsets that’ll fit
I have a '91. What caused the gap in the front tires to fender?
I think it was just from lifting it up. After I drove it it settled down lower a couple inches. I recently made a coil over install video that got rid of the gap completely if you’d like to check out how that looks.
could I fit sl55 rims on my R129?
Do the factory center caps fit those new rims?
Yes but mine were worn out so I bought new ones
