You DO NOT DRIVE a motorcycle, you RIDE a motorcycle......
They use "drive" because it is a legal term. When you're "driving" you're engaged in commercial activity, and they can really only enforce speed limits upon people (err.."persons") if they are engaged in commerce. They trick you by using this word and many other legalese words, and when you admit to "driving", for whatever reason, you end up in their jurisdiction. Intelligent people who understand the law know that there aren't really any speed limits for people traveling (or in this case "riding") in a private capacity. You have a right to travel unmolested. All that being said...I still don't agree with riding like this on the street. It puts people on edge even if you don't wreck and, well, it's highly risky to yourself and those around you. Only ride like this on a track.
Hmmm, OK. I have been "driving" motorcycles for 56 years now. I'm pretty sure if I get pulled over for 90 in a 60, I am going to get a ticket, whether I am "Driving" or "Riding" my bike. They are both bikes at the end of the day, and they both have to follow the same laws. 😂 nobody is special over here.
@TROLLSTIN13 they are both bikes but the cultures and riding styles are very different.
@@jeffomspaugh6691 you hop on two wheels, hold the throttle and find the friction zone in the clutch, not much of a difference🤷♂️ plus if these bikers don’t like the law, then they can simply go to a track, or move somewhere else, or better yet, obey the law like a normal grown responsible adult.
@TROLLSTIN13 you don't sound like a rider, much less a rider of both. Very few riders of either kind actually obey the traffic laws. It's just a matter of to what extreme.
@@jeffomspaugh6691 and you don’t sound like a very intelligent person. The majority of people don’t break traffic laws. If you stop and think about it, there are thousands of vehicles on the road at the same time. most of the time, the cops are just cruising. If what you said was really true, then everybodyeverybody would have lost their license by now.
Splitting lanes is a fools game.
@@SuperEman500 Spoken like a simpleton whose days are numbered because he can't get on a bike without risking his life and everyone around him.
Correction. He was riding in Mexico. Not Colorado 😀
GixxerBrah got that wanted level… time to visit pay n spray
All the people driving in the left lane not passing is the real crime
I completely agree with this guy! I grew up around motorcycles and clubs. I still ride today. People that ride like this make us all look bad!
If that idiot got turned to pink mist, his fam and friends would be crying about what a good boy he was and that the driver in the car was somehow at fault.
A little bit of fame. Gixxerbraaa is a legend
What they failed to mention is that they didn’t even catch him and they’re not going to catch him because he just won’t go back to Colorado. At least that’s what I would do.
top speed for a police vehicle is around 148mph(Ford Police Interceptor SUV) iirc. they ain't catching him even IF he goes back to Colorado.
@@gourdguru They won't even attempt to chase him. Most police won't chase a bike because most often the bike will just take off and pursuing them at those speeds would just be a danger to other drivers
Keep showing your delusions kid. States expedite people who are wanted in another state. One of his charges is a felony reckless driving. He's going to be caught and sent back to Colorado to face justice for his reckless behavior.
@@gourdguru keep showing your ignorance. This isnt the 60s, 70s anymore. Police cars are a lot faster and can keep up with that motorcycle.
@@chaseviking5096 they literally can not though. That bike has at least 40 mph on a cop car. And for a state to extradite somebody they have to get arrested first
I see motorcycle riders on Crotch rocket do this all the time especially in the spring and summer. They do tricks on the bikes and cause a distraction to other drivers. And they themselves end up in an accident or cause them. Need to start cracking down on all the street racing and tricks with both motorcycles and racing the cars. When I was a teen in the 80’s this wouldn’t have been put up with.
Sucks they didn't have a single officer or state patrol to catch him on a 70 mile stretch then huh?
1. i used to ride a crotch rocket, sadly you aren't wrong, lots of guys see it as a toy, a problem you don't tend to see as much with people who ride harley's or other cruisers. back when i rode, i usually avoided the other crotch rocket riders socially for this exact reason. too many dudebros with no brains. instead i would take my little yellow bumblebee of a motorcycle out to the bar on the interstate where the cruisers and biker gangs like hell's angels used to chill. they got their own problems for sure, but this wasn't one of em, they had at least that many braincells, and as long as you gave them their due respect they were generally alright. plus it was funny to see like a dozen black harley's with raised handlebars parked next to a single 250cc kawasaki ninja in canary yellow. "one of these things is not like the other", lol.
2. happened in the 80's too my dear, you just didn't run in those circles and it wasn't seen as newsworthy. idiot kids have been drag racing on public roads since the 50's and have been causing accidents and costing lives for just as long. the problem hasn't changed at all, what's changed is the road conditions. you see more of this in major cities, not because it doesn't happen in small towns, but because small towns don't have nearly the traffic issues and as such, they are less likely to be caught by cops since they have more room to run, and are less likely to have an incident because there are less people/cars on the road overall. add to that the fact that small towns usually have rural roads that are basically empty and run straight for miles which incentivizes this activity OUTSIDE the city limits proper instead of in the heart of the town where traffic is more prevalent. as a result of all this, less cops see it, less people are effected, etc etc., whereas in a major city this is more likely to occur where a cop will see and directly involve himself, and more likely to occur on busier streets amid the condensed city population leading to more accident potential.
Of course they interview these Harley dorks
He was going really fast but not 150 or 170 MPH. His speedometer is CGI. So, unless CHP catches him in the act, he can't be charged. They possibly could charge him with giving false information to a leo. You know how sensitive these little pink cops are. Big tail lights for a living yet expect to be told truth always
Idiots like that endanger other bikers. People will get pissed at someone riding like that and they will take it out on some other biker who has nothing to do with him. I’ve seen it happen in the past & road rage is way worse than what it was then.
Can’t wait for the news story about the people who drive UNDER the speed limit while on their phones in the passing lanes.
YES
..and that's every day, everywhere all over the country. And cops ignore those folks, (even though they're breaking the law too!)
F. Yes
Idk the POS cops in az can't figure out how not to pull out in front of ppl or use a blinker these pigs are worthless here , they constantly run lights due to laziness and entitlement.
