Spawn has the most powerful potential. McFarlane had a genius idea to birth an anti-heroe with his mythology , and more of that , that called the mythology wrote by Dante and his "Divine Comedia". No , Malebolgia is not an invention from McFarlanne , and Spawn is a synthesis of what a deep character needs to be in comic universe. Hats off , like always. Personnaly I'm waiting the next movie , but it's always a pleasure to watch the first one. Iconic poses , inconic OST, the most badass ever.

Well Todd MacFarlane is planing on making a reboot to Spawn with Blumhouse productions starring Jamie Foxx as Spawn and Jeremy Renner as Twitch Williams. This time he wants to focus more on human caracters and Spawn being the antagonist who causes the surnatural murders instead of Spawn's origin story. Hope it'll be in production soon because Todd promised that we'll have Spawn in the big screens again
Even in 1997 this one had me scratching my head at how some of it could look so good and some of it so (soooo) bad. You can definitely tell the FX that ILM did and the ones they didn't lol. And yet I can't hate it. It's TERRIBLE by any normal standards but there's just something about it that keeps me from totally disliking it. Crazy movie..
Really wanting to do a music cover/remix on this. Sadly I may have to use some of their mp3 to get the original sound. But I think I can syncronize this one just by ear and by tab. Would be a lot of fun to do. One of my favorite super heros story wise.
1. Pick a 90's Synth VSTi 2. Pick a "Bass" type Preset, maybe mess with the oscillators and detuners a bit 3. When programming the Synth part, the higher notes are way off. The main synth rhythm is in a loop with a hard emphasis on the last 16th note. I swear this shit's in 15/16 somehow. It sounds like it's in Phrygian mode also, in case you're wondering about note selection. So minor with a flattened second. METALLLLL 4. Make sure you sneak the cowbell in for the drum part, and don't forget the 32nd notes on the kick
