Video suggestion. Installing a TV mount to the outside where the TV backer sticker is placed. Bonus if it also covers installing a mount in the bedroom where the sticker is.
Good morning! Thank you for your inquiry however, parts can only be obtained from an authorized Dealer or Service Center. I have attached a link to search your nearest location - www.keystonerv.com/find-a-dealer, www.keystonerv.com/find-a-service-center.
I just replaced my generator compartment door, left the tailgate down and it damaged the door. The question I have is what type of sealant is used on the inside of generator compartment. I noticed it is black and it looks like it was brushed on. Again this is the inside of the door and no on the outside. I guessing some type of heat resistant sealant?
I need to learn how to adjust my compartment slam latches so they actually grab and secure the doors. I haven't found video help anywhere. Advice please?
Why are you still using silicone sealant on the outside of the RV that molds and has to be replaced so often. Isn't there products out there that last much longer and more mold resistant in the outdoor environment? My car doesn't use silicone why does my rv have so much of it?
Good morning, and thank you for your insight, the silicone sealant is used in many applications and is intended for indoor/outdoor use just as at home. It is used across the RV industry and does well to serve its purpose in keeping water out. However, as part of routine maintenance, customers need to frequently inspect and update their seals, in which case, if needed, you could reapply whatever seal you choose to complete this maintenance on the exterior. On the roof we will only recommend self-leveling lap sealant, but anywhere there is silicone seal, you may use what you like to keep water out.
Good Morning! We will pass this along to look into making these. If you ever have any specific questions or concerns on your unit please do contact our retail customer service team at 1-866-425-4369. Thank you!
