Everything was so cool, but in my personal point of view, Audio would have made it perfect. Love the cabin, interiors, very silent inside. I wonder the way it may look this beauty with winglets. Best regards.
There is sound in the video, it certainly wasn't silent. If you mean that you think it would be better if I talk over the engine sounds or play music, I disagree. I like to try to capture the experience like you're on-board while you're watching the video.
This is my friends Tommy Suel that is the captain of this plane, great to see it in a youtube video, he has his own channel here on youtube, PlaneJunkies. edit: The plane my friend Tommy flies i'm referring to is the PC-24.
Great video Ryan !! I got to fly on a PlaneSense PC-24 from Dallas to Houston about a month ago. I was amazed at the roominess of the cabin and there were four passengers on board, and I also couldn't get over the amount of luggage space in the back. That is the problem with so many smaller, private jets, not a lot of luggage space. The PC-24 certainly doesn't have that problem. Pilatus hit a home run with this one!
I was on board of a single propeller of Pilatus Porte in Sorong , West Papua, the eastern part of Indonesia. it was a very old Pilatus Porte however Its manuverability was superb excellence. I like Pilatus Porte - Swissmade.
Hey, I believe that's Tommy PC-24 right? Gotta be his! Great pilot, and really cool guy!! He owns a Comanche, Christen Eagle and a Pitts S1, I believe that he's setting up to race at Reno!
I love this aircraft.....whomever is responsible for the design deserves a medal. The belly under the wings make it very special. Thanks for posting the video.
Fantastic, capable, quality aircraft - no doubt will be another success for the company. My only gripe would be the positioning of the Lav - due to the rear cargo door (which is great) it has to be placed forward and when in use restricts movement a little.
Would be a deal breaker for me, if I had the money to go shopping for a business jet. Mind you, there are passengers on board and they may have some needs on the way. At that fare you would want some more privacy and provisions for them. Other manufacturers can supply that.
My daddy bought a leer jet while back. Once you start flying one , there no way in hell you ever want to go back to flying commercial. These jets are so whippy , fast and it's really fun.
Another awesome video on what has to be a pretty new general aviation jet! I subscribe to Pilatus's UA-cam channel, and they were showing a PC-24 landing on a dirt strip in the Australian outback with a flying doctor's service there. They've definitely made some pretty rugged airplanes! I don't know if you've ever seen the movie "Air American" with Mel Gibson, but there's some pretty sweet footage in that movie of the Pilatus PC-6 Turbo Porter in there.
Didn't know that Pilatus makes a jet now...I think the bizjet is a crowded field now; becoming indistinguishable from each other...You think there will ever be a supersonic bizjet?
The PC-24 is the only business jet that can land on short, unpaved runways. It has the large cargo door, has a good range for a jet of its size and can be operated by a single pilot. So yes, the bizjet market is somewhat crowded, but the PC-24 stands out. As for supersonic, yes... Aerion is building one, they expect to start flying in 2023. But it is going to cost at the very least $120 Million, I imagine the fuel costs will be ridiculous as well, there are only a few places where you will be permitted to go supersonic (over the oceans) and with the way we are heading in terms of climate policy... I dare say there will be some kind of carbon tax put on it, it also has a small cabin... maybe even too small for most people with that sort of money to even consider it. So with all of that, I don't see it becoming a huge success. If I had the money I would save myself $45 Million (at least) and go for the Global 7500... It has a much larger cabin, almost twice the range, will use less fuel and is much more versatile and it isn't that much slower. Bombardier is also already established, has maintenance centers all over the world, etc. Whereas the Aerion will be the Bugatti of planes in the sense that an oil change on a Bugatti costs over $20,000. So yeah, I'd stick to the 7500, even if they cost the exact same.
@@JB-so5gr Come on man. 20 grand for a oil change? Millionaires don't become wealthy from being stupid! Why would it cost that much? Is the oil from a special gold plated well in Saudi Arabia?
Although it is not known from which country this plane went to which country, the experience is similar to the one we traveled on this plane ourselves Thank you
Pilatus Aircraft has its headquarters, along with a production plant, on the Buochs Airport in the Swiss canton of Nidwalden. The headquarters and plant are in the municipality of Stans.
Beautiful jet. Great video. Only one question (i know almost nothing about aviation) What are those three spheres -blue-white-blue mounted over the instrument displays at 4:01 ???? The answer may be obvious or silly but i dont know it so, be kind.
Here's an answer that I found on the web: "ERP" balls, or Eye Reference Point balls. They give the flight crew a means to position their eyes to the "design eye position" or DEP. The DEP is the established optimum point at which the pilot(s) must have his/her eyes to meet various landing criteria.
As used by the Royal Flying Doctor Service for the Australian outback. Pilatus did some testing in Oz for that type of work. The RDFS was already a user of Pilatus aircraft.

Considering that this aircraft can depart from a 3,500ft strip, like Santa Monica, CA, and fly direct to Columbus, OH...loaded up with six passengers & 1,200 lb of payload. The range is more than fair, IMO.
@@RyanBomar I totally agree. But I have always wanted a single pilot jet that can fly from say, Santa Monica, CA to Teterboro, NY with 4-6 passengers and unfortunately the PC-24 just narrowly doesn't allow for that, I dare say there will be a new version in the near future which has improved range. It would be HUGE for the business charter market.
