Those X-Mod oscillators are great. They have a lot of glide by default, but that's easy to adjust. With some Osc modulation, they can sound really unique.
Get on my man 🙏✊👊💪🔥 Loving this Gabe. I've just got the sample version .And it saves me having to learn how to use the electrode first before I teach them. Trying to get my kid's into it. As you are doing it for me 👏🔥 And your so damn good at it bro Love from the UK 🙏🔥
Hitting record, then hitting a pad automatically starts recording. And the beat just loops, keeping everything I just played, so I just have to make sure to stop playing right as the loop ends. It's a really well designed system.
i recently picked up the e2 but i just dont get it. i get the emx1, everything is right there but the e2 i feel is kinda backward, a lot of the functions are somewhat buried behind shift menus and yeah i dont get it lol good job on the beat tho. sounds dope :)
Yeah that's definitely fair. Out of all the grooveboxes I've used, this one had the steepest learning curve. Once I got over it, it's fairly intuitive but a lot of its workflow feels like a holdover from a previous era of gear.
I own an e2s and I've watched more videos on grooveboxes than I would like to admit haha, from my limited knowledge it seems like the e2 is a much more performance based device, like an instrument, rather than one aimed at composition. This has it's pros and cons of course and depends what you're after. You can get some cool sounds out of them but they definitely take some figuring out.
I had the OG electribe EM1, the one that uses those outdated memory cards, that thing was so easy to build patterns with such. The layout on this one sounds like it's held back with more functions lying underneath though. Either way it still looks more intuitive than Roland's groove boxes
I'm working on a video right now on making full songs with the Electribe. To make different sections, you can either switch between sessions or mute and unmute patterns
Another amazing video. I don’t see how you don’t get like at least 10k views an upload, this is edited amazingly, and just professional
It was good!
Definitely would listen to it.
True professional work, 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good job

"Metal Bell" towards the end is pretty crazy too.
Wow, no roll function and real-time quantize settings?
Very good

Nice 🤟🤟🤟🤟
wow!!! awesome video!
one question, how did you insert the audio in reaper?
Thanks! You can export the stems as wav files to the SD card that plugs into the Electribe, then just plug the SD card into your computer.
How are you tracking audio into reaper? Track by track? How do you deal with electronic noise when tracking?
Can you trigger those drum sounds from an electronic drumset via midi ? I was able to do that on my es-1 electribe years ago...
Giod stuff bro.I think i may have found the drum machine I need to make drum n bass and trance beats. This with Machine mk3 would be dope. Cheers
Good stuff.
How do you start/stop recording if using two hands to make a beat? surely you'd have space at the beginning and end?

awesome mate

I'm with you on that one. I briefly owned the E2 sampler. I didn't care for it.

Did you create the different sections within the unit? How did you sequence the different patterns?

I’ve never gotten a beat maker, should I get this or the novation circuit?
Thanks
Thoughts on trying to learn on an MPC1000? its all I've got and I'm broke
how did you turn off the beat sound when you record????? I can't find the way :'(
You can turn metronome off in global parameters, it is set to “record” by default. Change it to “off”.
@@nicklane6122 thanks!!!!!! That helps a lot ;)
Good bass line the sounds broke on my big computer it will b tricky mastering my stuff
If you mean this video.. Well.. I think you could make really better
Very generic very un original
