hello, great camera setup. I think you're using the Tilta 4 x 5.65" Carbon Fiber Matte Box. Could you tell me what the approximate weight of that matte box is?
Great video! One quick question, do I need to assemble the top plate in order to power the camera or just the back io plate is good enough? I want to set it up on my ronin so hoping to keep the weight down. Thanks a lot.
Very handy. Thanks for making the video. Do you know if an audio box connected to the mic jack will receive phantom power? (Like the WC A Box for instance).
After using it for a few years were are still happy went went the Tilta route. One of the biggest pro's of the I/O module for us is that the v-mount plate is offset farther down so that standard v-mount battery's fit more flush with the rig. As for cons we don't really have any major ones other than its a 3rd party piece which has never personally caused any issues for us, but have heard of it causing issues for others.
@@threefoldtv Thank you for your reply and info that you shared. Exactly I've read some feedback from some users that they had issues with power connector. That's why I wanted to know what your experience is. Thanks!
This was helpful in making my decision to buy this in the B version..have you noticed they just canceled the C version and not to mention they seem to keep changing the cage every 6-12 months since it was first announced.
I have the same question... There're many online shop in China(TaoBao) selling C version (even D,E,F...ect) but the picture they have were different from most video I saw on UA-cam, they have red fan cover on top handle instead of black and some of the LEMO port on top were gold. Strange....
Compared to the original Red DSMC2 I/O module production kit that is selling for $7KUSD and that doesn't even include the cage itself. Value for money this is the better option by far!
I must say that was a handsome setup. Great video.
