The problem is that Cassandra doesn't know what REALLY happened, she made rocks that went in the direction of Corona but to her they didn't DO anything. All she knows is that there are now red rocks that Rapunzel went near them and shortly after disappeared. She doesn't know they almost destroyed Corona or that Varian is the one who got rid of them. To her Rapunzel destroyed the rocks for no reason. And yeah she is being dumb and not questioning it but it's because it's easier. It's easier to believe it's Rapunzels fault and listen to ghosty girl (or BooBerry), because she's promising great things for Cassandra, rather than face the fact that she HERSELF is the bad guy here. It's stupid but it's easy.
