Coleman Check Valve removal and cleaning

I remember these things being a pain in the butt. My first tent was a coleman and i still use it 30 years later, its still good. The lanterns were always just a pain, didnt matter who made them

Thanks for commenting. That bail wire has some spring to it, even on a 1972 lantern.

@@TwoRiders I just use small battery led lanterns now, but remember those coleman lanterns from my scouting days. I'm an Eagle

Who did you get the check valve removal tool from?

Thanks for watching. I checked my ebay history and it wasn't from the bay. Old Coleman Parts was out of stock, so I must have done a web search. I'll update this response if I can track down where it came from. It was about $40 and it is a well made tool.
