Toyota of Orange has 7 Tacoma Hybrids in production and all 7 have a dealership add ones of around $2,000 + a markup of $4,000. Even the sport and off-road are at $60,000+
There is a Sport in Anchorage, Alaska that the dealer is marking up 13K. That is for the stock truck. No aftermarket wheels and tires.

Too big & heavy of a tire for a small 4-banger truck to pull around going, it's going to get horrible mileage, also 35X11.50 is more useful if u kno your tires 👍👍 3rd gen Tacoma is the better vehicle in general

Exactly. Sometimes I go a little overboard looking at the new Tacoma’s, lift it with new wheels and tires and then look at stock 3 gen ! Stay away from all new tundra and Tacoma for 3 years big problems
If they didn’t gear that truck it ain’t right. The speedo will be off the towing won’t be as high and the transmission is going to hate it. That truck may never see 8th gear.
Having owned a 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen Tacoma, these 4th gens are better in every single way (except for price, but it’s on par with inflation). Reliability is TBD.
$5700 for wheels/Tires and lift is a little steep. $49,999.00 looks about right for that truck.
SORRY, NO! Too much $$$ and I think the 4 cylinder will be under powered. The extra storage space is for the AAA number to come and get you when the engine blows up.

The TRD "off-road" has a bigger/stronger rear differential than the ”sport" model... & Rear locker, in other words it's not just a rear locker it's an actual larger size rear end

I can see this truck at maybe $40k with the upgrade pkg and 35" tires. No way would I pull off a lot paying $53k and not feel absolutely robbed.

Thats sick that the new tacomas can fit 35s now doesn't look like any cutting to with a small lift. A 4cylinder turbo is lame tho. Always have to have your foot in it to get going and it gets close to the same mpg as the 3rd gen.

The problem with the 2024 Toyota Tacoma you showed first is the added rims and the 35s is the weight and you put an aftermarket bumper with a winch is more weight. How long before you blow a turbo or motor? I just don't see someone building an overland rig and expecting it to go off-roading fully loaded.

I have the Underground Sport 4x4 with the Premium package and love it. Not sure why they put those tires on a Sport, mine came with Michelins for a very nice ride. Of course I don’t off road it. Great job LK!
