Yes the Arkley hotel has been around for a while remember as a kid way back in the 60s the old 107 route ran from Ponders End to Barnet ( Arkley hotel) as a back up for the full route of the 107 Durants Rd - Queensbury, so been around for a while that place Excellent video as always Peter
The backs of the duty cards for my local route, warn the drivers about the strict 20mph speed limit on the first half of the road, which most of them don't bother with, as the route gets so delayed, they always rush up to the stand at the end of the road to get as much stand time as they can get...
I'm the other way round. Doing lates only I want a short first half so I'm on my break whilst things are still busy, then go back after the break when it's all quietened down
This bus seems very nice and comfortable to drive and also a DW Aswell , they both are lovely buses tbh
Yes, very nice to drive

@@BristolRE We also used it as a turn when we were super late during the NBA crisis time in the 70's.
@@wkc2 The 70s. Happy days in much happier times all round

Lol, sounds about right.
Great video

How about extra running time to Arkley from the Hospital and how does that affect stand time?
It doesn't really, maybe extra minute, just leave a minute early to be on time at the first stop
Nice video Peter
Thanks
Nice video Peter.
Thanks
I think the only driver in Arriva who enjoys buses, along with myself before moving back and driving in general.
The enjoyment is long gone, TfL have ruined the job
Awesome vid
Thanks
Better to have more rounders 1st then a break then maybe one to do.

@@BristolRE makes sense. I guess generally I do earlies.
@@davidcooper4280 Yes, with earlies a longer first half certainly as you cannot avoid the busy times either way
Nice video keep it up

You could have got a t bus for one rounder lol, no ES available, previous driver put it on the fuel line so find a T bus, off you go
