I bought a BTCC Honda Accord and sent it around Croft Circuit.

I recently purchased an ex BTCC production class Honda Accord which had been in storage since 2009. I recommissioned it and took it to Croft Circuit to test. This is my first time ever driving the car.

@rst138 I imagine, mate. Were you ever worried it was too loud for Corft?

@@AddsHud yes 😂 But really I had no idea what it was like when driven so just had to risk it. There's a big box under the car, think it's empty now so I'm going to drop it and get it repacked, should quiet it right down for some of the lower dB tracks

Love this, looked at it so many times on race cars direct 😂. Did it take much to get it up and running?

It came running but it wasn't ready to go, clutch didn't work, no idea how old cambelt was, broken bits on ARBs, stripped threads on halfshaft bearing carrier etc. Have list long as my arm of bits I've fixed, and found a handful more big ones at croft, like emptying £40 of 99 onto shell forecourt. In the top out the bottom ☠️

@@rst138 yeah been through your Instagram posts, very interesting. Not too bad all considered, you certainly have a special car there. Hope the engine hangs together, can't be a well supported engine, probably all custom made cams/pistons etc!
