Hello Father Seraphim. I am new to Christianity, rebelling against it my whole life. A month ago this all changed, for I never knew anything of the Orthodox Christian Faith. And I want to follow Christ now, a feeling so new to me. I've been using the Jesus Prayer often, listening to Orthodox hymns and chants, and learning about the Saints. And now to hear you speak dear Father, is truly a gift from the LORD. Amin.

If Christ can pray from the cross to forgive the sin of those who were crucifying him, if St. Steven the Protomartyr can ask God to not hold the sin of his own murder against those who were in the process of murdering him, if Righteous Abraham can speak with God and plead with Him to spare the godless cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, then we can and should pray for the whole world without distinctions or hesitations.

Amen, amen! The enemy has subtly entered our churches and it's our fault. We're not the prayer warriors we were meant, and commanded, to be! Monastics aren't the only ones called to be on the front lines but we all are and it's time we got down to fighting!

Because of my job I constantly see monstrous people doing monstrous things to each other. I have an icon of Christ the Bridegroom by my bunk to remind me of the humility and love required where it seems…impossible and mad.
I don’t succeed much when I try to pray for them. But I’m trying to squirm less in that space. This is hard. Thank you. God bless

The true church of Christ. The Orthodox Church is what I am being pulled to the true body of Christ. "Pray for those who persecute you" "Do Not Judge" "Love one another" "let no one weep for his sinfulness, Let Noone fear death for the savior's death set us free"! Halleluiah! "Untie Him" Untie Him Jesus said to help Lazarus. CHRIST IS RISEN!

Dear Father I have a question which I’m so ashamed of but this beautiful message highlights to me. When I was younger I really feel I loved God and people more than I do now. I hang my head to say I find myself feeling like a real elderly outsider, I don’t seem to have anything much in common with colleagues and modern life. I find I often feel conflicted as to how to show love to others while not condoning sometimes blatantly blasphemous behaviour and speech. I’m all too aware of the judgementalist nature of even such thoughts, it feels like such a minefield. Times in the staff room are hardest, how do I act, in love? Is it sufficient to pray Gods will be done? I’m so aware that my life does not bring glory to Gods name that I don’t feel that my saying anything would do anything but cause others to discredit God.

Dear father.i am extremely thankful for your videos.i lost my mother last year and still living in constant pain.i always wanted to make her proud of me but i thought i have more time.when she passed i lost my chance forever to try to repay the sacrifices she made for me and to ask forgiveness for all the time when i hurted her with words in my dumb younger years.i was to proud than to see my shortcomings.when i prayed to God to save her and she still died , i blamed God but thanks to your and other orthodox priests videos now i only blame myself.it was not Gods job to save her it was mine to realize i should never wait and delay expressing love and i should have seen my sins like i do now.if only she have seen me in this new version of mine.i try to become more humble every day and try to identify every sin what i can so i could repent as soon as i commit them.after losing her and the chance to fix things i lost my will to live and purpose.thanks to you i found my purpose again.i pray to God to keep you strong enough to make videos and to keep you as humble as you are now so you can touch other lost souls like mine. Btw i work together with many moldavians in my job and they all give me the same humble feeling in their appearances.i consider them as friends and even we never met i consider you also my brother.God bless you and all of us.

When I was in Hell and held captive by the demons my mother was clinging to a life she no longer wanted to live in a world without my father so that she could pray for me. I was her cross, as much as it pains me to say, but I am grateful she did because without her, Christ may not have rescued me and my Hell would have been permanent.
Father, you described with those words exactly the way I have always remembered my times of suicidal depression. I know the Resurrection is a reality because I am already experiencing it. I wanted to kill my body because I was already dead and in Hell. If not for Christ's love shining upon me from my mother's heart I wouldn't have made it.
Glory to God! I am Adam and He did indeed rescue me from Hades. Never lose hope! Pray for everyone!

When Christ preached during his lifetime, no one believed at the time in the true God. Not even the Jews (considering their typical interpretation of the law). In this respect, all of Christ's "work" on Earth, His crucifixion and His Ressurection was exclusively for the salvation of "non-Christians" if I may say. Even though i am not that strong spiritually to achive this, i believe that this how we should treat non-Christians today, if we want to "mimic" our Christ.

I am new to your channel and Orthodoxy and the message you are conveying is v.important. I was thinking about a passage from the C of E Bible from my original background: let those without sin cast the first stone, or something to that effect. In humble respect and thanks.

Not long ago I was at a monastery and I heard a nun ask whether a person on a prayer request was Orthodox or not, I put a non-Orthodox person there regardless because I felt it right and I figured even if it's a problem, I'd rather be blamed for trying than not. Brought it up later in confession and my spiritual father said much the same as you.
God bless you and everyone around you father, you're a treasure for us all.

    Fr Seraphim:
I am a tid bit enebriated at the moment.
I never leave comments. Your videos really help me.
I am totally lost. What is a man supposed to do in this world? It's so absurd, that all I feel like I can do is laugh.
I'm so sorry, honestly, I am so so sorry.
I never can speak honestly. It's always this: either pride, or guilt, causing me an unbearable anxiety, that swallows me up.
I am so sorry! I can already feel the anxiety coming for me.
    Thank you.
Please, don't give up. Let's show this goofball (Satan) what love looks like.
    I'm so sorry for this.
    - FroughDough (great name, right? lol)
