When rose knocked out joana, every person inside the bdubs was cheering, ufc 217 best card they ever had, no card after it has come close, all 3 title fights delivered
Yeah I invited my brother in law, who used to watch UFC in Chuck Liddel and GSP era, to watch it with me. He’s not an MMA fan anymore but he got hyped for GSP Bisping fight. Can’t believe all three champs lost their belts. TJ shut Cody up, Rose brought the biggest upset in history, and GSP once again secured his GOAT status.
Another thing I loved about 236 was the fact that we got Lumpinee Ready Rountree’s dominant beating against Eryk Anders. One of the worst beatings I’ve ever seen inside a cage
UFC 206 should have been here, Kelvin smashed Tim Kennedy into retirement, Cowboy delivered one of the most beautiful head kick KO's ever witnessed against Matt Brown, Cub Swanson and Doo Ho Choi put up one of the best fights we've ever seen and Max Holloway and Anthony Pettis went to war and this was the card where Max showed he was a real threat and not to be taken lightly, a great card especially following the massive UFC 205 before it
Plus Lando Vannata landed a wheel kick KO on John Makdessi, and NOBODY saw it live. I went to that card live, and there can't have been more than like 2000 people in the stands at that point. Insane card
At the time, I loved UFC 58, 68, 92 and 100 lived up to the hype too for me. UfC 165 was also good but UFC 217 overdelivered in a way I never expected it too. 3 title fights, 3 new champions and the return of the GOAT. I had never felt like the way I did after that card, I literally felt like I was high. UFC 217 has to be the best card of all time right now
Especially when you consider the narrative behind UFC 217. All three champions were notorious for their trash-talking and all three got humbled. I don't think this has ever happened before in any MMA event, which makes the moment GSP choked out Michael Bisping all the more greater.
"When the UFC finally unlocked Madison Square Garden as a playable venue" Holy shit that's an awesome line. EDIT: Well that thread certainly happened. Cheers for the 500 likes, I guess?

Ill never forget watching UFC 241 at Buffalo Wild Wings on the OSU campus in my 1st weekend as a sophomore in college. When Stipe knocked out DC, literally everyone was on their feet screaming. Best night ever
I wouldn't say its the greatest card ever, but it definitely over-delivered especially since the Main Event wasn't expected to be particularly good. It has to be one of the craziest events though. The prelims and early prelims were all bangers, the first two bouts on the main card went down in the most unexpected of ways (poor Chris Weidman) but all three title fights were great finishes; Valentina Shevchenko put on a Khabib-like performance against a dangerous opponent, Thug Rose shockingly KO'd the reigning champion to regain gold in the first round, and Kamaru Usman topped it all off with a rocket of a right hand that cracked Masvidal's pride (his chin) putting him to sleep, silencing the pro-Masvidal crowd. All three champions showed why they were the top dogs of their divisions.
@@madgavin7568 easily the best card I personally have seen. It sucked tho cus I’m a big Weili and masvidal fan. Still, it’s hard not to get hyped swing that head kick ko from rose and that perfectly places right hand from usman
@@benjadlos6378 I was very happy for Rose, its almost impossible not to root for her and the fact he won via KO just goes to show how dangerous she is. I was however blown away by Usman, I was rooting for him going into the fight but I would have never in a million years have predicted him knocking Masvidal out cold.

@Ibrahim Hassan Hamroush Others didn't celebrate it too... A lot of people were sad DC lost. Especially as he was throwing a lot of punches and wining till Stipe landed those body shots
@@allanphilip First of, I'm not a DC fan. I'm just the guy who states the facts. There were people who were sad when DC lost because it ruled out every chance of DC vs Jones trilogy at HW. That was the main motivation for DC. Lemme explain. Initially, DC didn't want the Stipe rematch as he was aiming for a big fight with Brock Lesnar. After the Lesnar match fell off, there were talks of other options for DC. The biggest one was a trilogy with Jones. But JJ and a lot of people were not interested in the trilogy as Jones had defeated DC twice already. So a plan was made. Defeated the most dominant heavyweight since Cain Velasquez ( i.e Stipe), then an argument can be made that the only reason Jones defeated DC was because he was in LHW. Personally, I think that was a lame excuse. Nevertheless, it was the only thing that got DC interested in the Stipe rematch. But we all know what happened next. Ask yourself, why did Stipe delay the trilogy with DC. Aside from his job as s firefighter, it was some sort of payback for what DC did before the second rematch Stipe also poked DC's eyes. So I guess you can call Stipe the eye poking bitch as well.
@@thedon7256 Its such a shame we never got to see a prime Stipe face off against a prime Cain Velasquez. That would have been the fight with the benefit of hindsight to determine who the UFC Heavyweight GOAT was and given how both men bring the fight to their opponents, its guaranteed to be an excellent fight.
Great list I would add UFC 218 Great main event (Holloway vs Aldo 2) Scariest KO (Ngannou vs Overeem) 2 of the best fights ever (Alvarez vs Gaethje) (Brazilian Cowboy vs Yancy) UFC 211 was great too
UFC 218. Cowboy Oliveira and Yancy Meideros fought in what could have been fight of the year, Eddie Alvarez and Justin Gaethje went at it in what WAS fight of the year, Ngannou knocked Overeem’s head off and got KO of the year, and Holloway beat down Aldo. Awesome night of fights and I was happy I chose to order the PPV.

Bobby Knuckles, Thug Rose and Mighty Mouse all could've gotten POTN bonuses for their performances that night, but Mighty Mouse was the only one who nabbed one. It was one of the better triple-headers in UFC history.
I hope everybody good doing this Coronavirus outbreak especially the ones that lost their job due to this virus. My prays are out for y’all keep your heads up.🙏🏾🙏🏾💯❤️
Thank you for this one. It was very enjoyable. I actually saw 217. You're right. It was awesome. And TUF 1 was amazing. I only saw UFC 1 on VHS. I was floored.
I trust MMA On Point list so much that i want to watch those fights without spoilers as i got nothing better to do... Waiting for the MVP who will just post the list
I personally have never enjoyed one as much as 263, with Nate rocking Leon in the last minute, Moreno winning the belt and Izzy piecing up Vettori, it was just a magical night to me
UFC Fight Night in New Orleans may have been the best non-PPV I’ve ever watched. Every single fight on the main card ended in under 2 minutes, finishing off with Hendo knocking out Tim Boetsch.
My favorite card was UFC 92 you had Mir vs Big Nog 1 Wandy vs Rampage 3 Kongo vs Al Turk and to top it all off Evans vs Griffin. Great card and fights!
Ufc 229 should be here too imo, vicente Luque got an insane ko, Derrick Lewis pulled off an incredible comeback in the last possible moment, Ferguson and Pettis put on an insane war that’s had everyone on the edge of their seats, and to top it off the highest selling PPV fight in ufc history between Khabib and Conor McGregor
When I read the title, UFC 206 and 84 are the first ones that came to my mind. On paper they really didn't have people excited (Which are often in the end the best events), but they are in my all-time favorite cards by far. UFC 217 was totally amazing, but I expected it to be great so it wouldn't have been in my personal list.
241 is my all time favorite card. Amazing fights all around with the main event title fight making me jump out of my wheelchair in happiness seeing Stipe win
It’s not the best card ever, but UFC Fight Night 68 Henderson v Boetsch was the event that stole my heart forever. Already a big fan, that event just blew my fucking mind. - 10 out of 12 fights ending before the final bell. - Joe proctor v Justin edwards with an insane last second submission win. - shawn Jordan v Derrick Lewis with a ridiculous hook kick finish with Jordan being in his home town. - Rivera v caceres and birchak v Soto ending with incredible quick KO wins. - Ortega v Tavares is one of my personal favorite fights ever. Amazing drama and situations presented that would make a grappling purist cry. - Dustin Poirier v Yancy Medeiros with another hometown TKO win with the same flavor as the Jordan v Lewis bout, ground-shaking energy coming from those in attendance - Ben Rothwell v Matt Mitrione ends with about as unexpected a quick sub that you can find. - and the main event with the old legend finding his signature right hand for the nostalgia inducing finish. Cemented in my head the idea that on-paper means absolutely nothing. What a fucking sport this is.
The best fight card I've ever watched live was UFC 189. I just wish we had a full camp mendes for it. I've watched basically every ufc since 135 in 2011. My top 3 are. 1). 189. 2). 236. 3) 187
I remember watching 241 live with friends. Costa vs Romero live sounded like a damn pack of hyenas fighting a pack of bears in that house. Not a single ass in any seat, and every single last vocal chord vibrating lmao
217 was the best card I’ve ever witnessed. All 3 title fights were insane. And almost every fight under the title fights were incredible.

Michael Ferguson I was there that night- incredible card- When gsp stopped bisping the place erupted!

Bobby Knuckles, Thug Rose and Mighty Mouse all could've gotten POTN bonuses for their performances that night, but Mighty Mouse was the only one who nabbed one. It was one of the better triple-headers in UFC history.
YES! UFC 228 to start things off! Great memories hosting that event with friends. Double kneebars finishes in one night. Amazing top to bottom event.
That Lil boy at the beginning lmao he loves where he's at for sure
Had to go back and watch a couple of these fights
The only channel to make me entertain on this quarantine is mma on point thanks buddy keep uploading your shit
ufc 1... YOU JUST MADE THE LIST
Feel privileged to have seen the izzy vs Kelvin card.
Havent finished the video yet but I also seen 166 and that 1 was amazing aswell
217. Had me screaming a lot
As did a lot of people, including the commentators. It should be a UFC trivia fact as to how many times DC said Thug Rose after the KO.
I don't know why there are so many pro wrestling references in this video, but I'm not complaining.
UFC 217 is on ESPN+ Right now !!!
UFC 236 was on my bday, spent the day watching it, perfect birthday present
I personally have never enjoyed one as much as 263, with Nate rocking Leon in the last minute, Moreno winning the belt and Izzy piecing up Vettori, it was just a magical night to me
ufc 261 was insane in my opinion.. the whole fight card was unforgettable. 2 freak leg injuries , 3 title fights, and ended all in finishes
UFC 232, 241, 217 and the 25th anniversary events were so good
UFC Fight Night in New Orleans may have been the best non-PPV I’ve ever watched. Every single fight on the main card ended in under 2 minutes, finishing off with Hendo knocking out Tim Boetsch.
I love that you used Trevor Wallace in your video!!! 😂
you forgot Khalil Rountrees amazing performance at 236 I think it deserves more recognition
Add 261 to this list
ufc fight night 182 santos vs. teixeira over deliver. The whole event was through the roof🤯
My favorite card was UFC 92 you had Mir vs Big Nog 1 Wandy vs Rampage 3 Kongo vs Al Turk and to top it all off Evans vs Griffin. Great card and fights!
Great Video @mma on point!!!
UFC 228 was my first live ufc
We need a ton of more content during these times!
I wish 229 was on this. I was at UFC 229, 238, and 241
Ufc 229 should be here too imo, vicente Luque got an insane ko, Derrick Lewis pulled off an incredible comeback in the last possible moment, Ferguson and Pettis put on an insane war that’s had everyone on the edge of their seats, and to top it off the highest selling PPV fight in ufc history between Khabib and Conor McGregor
229 didn’t over deliver though.
As a kid ufc 100 was my most remembered card. Back when it was like 40 bucks for HD and 35 for non HD.
- Dustin Poirier v Yancy Medeiros with another hometown TKO win with the same flavor as the Jordan v Lewis bout, ground-shaking energy coming from those in attendance
- Ben Rothwell v Matt Mitrione ends with about as unexpected a quick sub that you can find.
Not a single ass in any seat, and every single last vocal chord vibrating lmao
love this one soo much.. thanks
