Definitely not a fan of Wang, but this wasn't bad at all...though I would prefer Ghesquiere.
He did it again.
I think some of the models were able to still keep the rhythm while making those sharp turns. Some did not.
Great debut for wang
a little less adventurous, a little less color. Still very technical and strong shapes that i think keep in touch with the balenciaga woman. Loved the cracked leather jackets and that draping + the tulip-shaped silhouette with the hem of the jackets Wang did... it really worked. Overall a really great induction to the Balenciaga label. Love.
Hope he pushes the envelope in the seasons to come as he becomes more confident in his role as creative director of a major fashion house.

not bad at least it wasn't an onslaught of hoodies ..I still miss Ghesquiere I hope he comes out with his own brand
Glad to see no Serious Ugly, as you often do with Balenciaga. Wang had less than two months to put this together and stuck to the codes of the house. Not bad. Tasteful - always refreshing. I hope ugly "chic" is gone and never returns.

the models are actually painfully thin.........just one dress size up please would actually make all the difference...

Are my eyes seeing cracked leather from 3:20? If so, I must make an effort to save my cracked upholstery to make garments!
structure of the clothing was cool, would have liked to see more color, the casting was awful for the show though, way too stiff, needed to see more movement with the clothes otherwise it looks like the clothes will make you walk in such a manner
This looked like Alexander Wang within the confines of Balenciaga. The runway was odd, with the two sharp turns. It made the models walk stiffly.
I agree with your comments on the models, stiff and a little cold. I don't know why show producers and designers want to transform models into 'mannequins' There were some incredible exits with some amazing textures, but the whole feel of the show was all a little cold....where was the joy?
It was really great. It was all black & white, yes. But I think the clothes were a mix between Balenciaga and Alexander Wang, which is perfect ! Love it!
