Fun hiking with Mike! You’re really putting in the miles! Way to haul! Too bad so much of it was just wide, flat gravel trail. Maybe it’s good for local people but not a long distance hike. Thanks Jason 👌👍😄

Overall I didn't mind because I like doing the miles but better views would have been nice. Mike needed those segments for his section hike so I was glad to help. Thanks for watching☺️

@@JasonOutdoors Great to go with Mike 👌 You never know, you might see some birds or something along the way. The ice age trail sounds interesting overall!

Enjoyed the video. Parts of the trail looked good. Long gravel roads not so. But a great PSA for future hikers. 👍😎✌️

For sure the beginning was the best. The rail trail not so much but it's all part of Mike's section hike so we had to do it.

That long gravel walk is sure a pain for your feet! You did pretty good mileage! 😊
Nice to have a car where you camp! Easier then carrying your stuff! 😊
    All the best! Kaat

Thanks Kat. I apparently like to push myself lol. The vehicle on each end made things so much easier.

Awesome Jason. I’m still looking for the best Wisconsin hike for June. The Flint Hills Trail was similar to this one. Also, I’m giving you a big shoutout in about 2 weeks. Look for it!😂

Thanks Dan. Hopefully yours was less boring lol. Not sure if I should be scared or excited for the shout out 🤣. Yeah wisconsin can be a tough one...I don't know enough of the state to give a good recommendation.

Still looks a little wintry up there Jason. Gravel road hiking. Lol

The temperature has been good but all the plants seem to be blooming a little late. Yea I'm not a fan of those segments with the gravel but Mike needs them for his section hike so I was glad to help out.

Another great hike! Glad you guys were able to travel so many miles. My legs would have divorced my body if I would have even attempted something like that. Awesome job! :)

Thank you. Ha ha, that's funny. Bigger miles is definitely something I've had to build up to doing.

What section are we on? 😂 That rail trail all kind of blended together, didn't it? Loved that shot with the seaweed at 2:10, and you did get the eagle taking off out of that tree! Thought this came together great, and you did an excellent job telling the story of the trip 👍 Working on putting together some ideas for next time!

I know lol, I kept forgetting so I left that part in. I missed a bunch but I think I got enough to make it work. Looking forward to the next segments👊

Awesome accomplishment. And great tent spot too and homemade mac and cheese sounds awesome too. You did some serious mileage. Definitely haul ass there in the end.

Thank you. Yeah it was a big day just wish it would have been more scenic. Can't go wrong with Mac..... unless it's the stuff I had on Cumberland lol. About 20 seconds after I put the camera away it opened up hard and we got soaked.

What is that blue thing a microphone sticking out of your backpack? Inquiring minds wanna know? LOL. Love your honesty about which section of this trail you would not recommend. Great info Jason. You made it to the shleter just in time. ~RVA~

That's the top of my smart water bottle, it's a modification to add a straw and a bite valve. I had to be honest.. didn't want to subject others to our misery lol. No we got soaked.. it opened up hard about 10 seconds after that clip lol.
