Multiple 1st rounders (most likely lottery picks) and solid players for a guy who is about to turn 29 years old? Thats a horrible idea. They need to go the OKC route and trade for picks while signing more players to to fill in and be tradable in the future.
U guys don’t understand that this team doesn’t need a kawhi Leonard or a jimmy butler or an all star, this team needs 2 solid role players that are above 5’7. Ngl dude, DeRozen was a bad move. I think Monte/Vivek got carried away by signing a big name. Instead of getting someone that solves an issue or that fits, they went with a big name. On top of that, they’re not even using him properly to benefit the team. He should be on the 2nd unit. He slows down the game waaaaay too much. You can see this at every game but specially against the lakers. They knew he slows down the game and so they didn’t guard him as hard cuz he’s bad at transition play and lakers being terrible at defense, that says a lot about the kings situation. Monte has been making bad Monte’s more often than not. I don’t think he’s going to make the right move at all

Nothing will fix this team . Fox has been in the nba for almost a decade and still can’t lock down on defense when it matters , as a team the kings can’t stop anyone on defense, can’t even prevent a wide open shot when it matters. Sabonis can’t get a bucket or a simple rebound when it matters . The kings are simply not smart enough to learn how to defend as a team . They can’t learn to defend so they can at least keep the other team from getting a wide open shot . Trash . Also the coaches main philosophy is that the players should always shoot any time they can get a three point shot off. No matter how deep or how cold they are they are forced to jack up bad threes .

Hire a new GM. Trade Fox for as many assets as possible. Trade Sabonis for anyone get off that contract. Trade Malik for a first round pick and start a complete rebuild.
Mark Jackson or van Gundy now…. Let see if it’s players or coach’s. I would bench foxy for 2 years if u want hardball…Browns rotations and line-ups are physopathic… Many factors have contributed to the mess that is the 2024-2025 season, from a GM who hibernates 90% of the season and who has yet to build a competent roster after the Tyrese Haliburton-Domantas Sabonis swap, to a few ill-timed injuries, to players who are simply performing well below their abilities. There’s a lot of bad and very little good happening anywhere across the organization, but no one has been quite as bad as Mike Brown this year. The most significant gap in Brown’s offensive philosophy has been his integration, or lack thereof, of DeMar DeRozan. Outside of the overall offensive and defensive strategies employed by the Kings, Mike Brown, another massive issue has been his inconsistent rotations and accountability. The best example is that of Keon Ellis, although plenty others can be found simply by checking basketball reference’s game logs. Yet another is Mc Buckets-McDermott was a beast off the bench. He scored 18 points on 6/7 shooting in just 8 minutes. He didn’t appear in the next game against the New Orleans Pelicans, and that DNP-CD was followed by a 16-point performance against Denver in which he sunk 6 of 9 shots and 4 of 7 of his three-point attempts. That impressive outing was again followed by a benching on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers. Yet, Kevin Huerter and Keegan Murray who has been awful for the majority of the season, continue to find regular minutes in Mike Brown’s rotation. Some players can do no wrong and some players can do no right. It’s true that Monte McNair has not set Mike Brown up for success, but Mike Brown also hasn’t set Mike Brown up for success. He’s been downright terrible.
2 firsts + keon is too mich to give up when you could very well start a rebuild next year. Keon should stay if we are rebuilding, and losing two firsts for a guy that won’t guarantee a turnaround is too much.
I can still go with Ellis and Huerter and two first rounders for Johnson and Finney-Smith. These players can bang and score. Problem for the kings is they are being bullied. Look at what the lakers, clippers, warriors ,they play like they are going to eat anybody. How come the kings cannot do that? These teams are no better than the kings players.
The only trade deal they need to be making has to involve Fox. They will not win a championship with a Cam Johnson addition. Put Heurter and Fox in a deal together and reset, not rebuild. The only player that can give you something valuable in return is Fox.
Fox is the problem. The day signed with Paul, I Kinew he was going to be problem. Two choices make a trade to get better and hopefully fox comes around. Or, trade fox now.
I think fox wants his money. He's got to be on another team to get all star. Kings current roster will weigh him down. Plus his stats don't get him there. I'm not sure hes really leading this team anyway. If he wants to leave, get a monster return for that. What that is, I'll let the comments take it from there...
I have watched Fox since he played high school basketball in Houston at cy creek He never improved his game and is still not a good shooter He was gifted with insane athletic ability and speed but he can’t hit a shot consistently
How much for Herb Jones/Trey Murphy from Pelicans? If the Kings are committed to win they have to go for it. It’s home run time. Too many losing seasons. Trade Fox for all you can get if that doesn’t work.
If Fox gets traded I will no longer be a fan of this team. I’ve been a diehard supporter since I was 4 years old, for 20+ years. It’s heartbreaking, and not because I don’t love them, I LOVE this team, but this franchise and the people running this team have just ruined it every time there’s a small shine of hope
Meh, trade for reed shepherd and picks. By next season kings will have a true pg and a returning two way carter. Trade sabonis for a defensive center. Stupid to acquire a rim protector that doesnt defend.
This team is done. They are done. Just the front office really think that going out and selling fire sailing everybody to get one player is kinda turn this team around no way this team has lost it. There is something wrong internally. OK so the kings trade some of their assets. We don’t even have any bench players to get us any points and we’re already talking about trading where are we gonna get points from?
This roster was so mismanaged. Now they are in a hole now they want a fire sale everybody to try to get out of the hole. The owners need to recognize this and fire sale the staff.
We do need a better bench tho. It’s part of the problem. We do need more than one player tho lol we need about three good bench to help with depth. Then we can tackle the starting unit and if it don’t work then we can start to think about the front office
Let me guess, you think you can only win if a team only has all stars. 😂 btw, if you’re a kings fan, probably should know they’re a small market team so getting a big name usually isn’t in the cards. Go root for the lakers. You’ll find your high grade players on a revolving door in that team 😂
Cam Johnson is a solid nba starter, borderline great shooter whose numbers are a bit inflated playing for a rebuilding team. Carter is Keon Ellis on defense with way more potential than him on offense. Trading 2 firsts and Carter is insane. One first and Keon or the Nets can take 2 bad picks from the Thunder
Bricklyn will trade anyone except Ben Simmons. Its sad Ive been a Nets fan since 1991, when they drafted Derrick Coleman, but I now refuse to watch even a single minute because ownership and the front office is heaping pile of dog shyt. 4o
Lol another team for Cam Johnson to waste his talent on. No one wants to go to Sacramento. They’re not winning anything probably ever. He’ll be in OKC contending for a championship with the Thunder. He’s literally the missing piece for them and they have 3x’s as many assets as the Kings do.
Honest review of this team - Keegan - could be a good role player but has too low iq and low energy and lacks the skills to score or dribble , not even a good shooter , actually a bad shooter . Had one lucky year that was only decent because he was given wide open threes all season Fox- not a good shot , not good at defense, low iq , not a dog , misses shots near rim constantly Monk - athlete that is out of control , gets lucky some games but on average he isn’t good Sabonis - below average , not a starter on any good team Rest of team sucks We’re a better team when had Terrance Davis and chimezi metu and if kept them they would be much improved by now and have good chemistry with the team Should of kept Davion Mitchell
I basically agree on everything, but don't need to be so harsh on Domas. He is a really good player, with high basketball iq and a great rebounder. He's a mix of Kevin Love and Jokic. A little better than the first (except behind the arc) and a little worse than the second. In any top team he will be an MVP candidate (21 ppg - and he's not the primary scorer - 13.5 rpg and 6 apg, only Jokic and Towns are doing better as center). He's not a good defender? Yes, but except for Gobert I can't find a solid starting center who can play defense with consistency. He just needs a player next to him who can compensate his lacks, but with Brown's philosophy it's almost impossible.
@ ok I was being harsh on him , just frustrated by his weaknesses but yes I agree with you , browns philosophy is horrible and will never have any consistency because it just depends on the team randomly getting lucky hitting bad shots to win
Bro please don’t waste picks for cam Johnson. This team is trash last thing we need to do is pay premium for a player that at best will bump us up to the 9-10th seed lmfao pathetic
Trade for big 5 center and move Sabonis to 4. Keegan to 3 Malik to 2. Fox 1. Start attacking the rim stops shooting 3s. And get a new coach. MB mess up the team.
I’ve lost confidence in Fox, he’s watching too much. Instead of watching too see what the Kings are going to do, maybe he should start doing something himself.
If the kings never got rid of Terrance Davis , chimezi metu , Davion Mitchell , we would have 3 young players coming into prime that can play together with great chemistry
Kings should still have - T Davis C metu N queeta D Mitchell R Holmes They were all super good teamsters and had good chemistry- should of kept them on the team to grow and get better

I noticed that too Keegan and Kevin continue to get a lot of minutes for playing so poorly
Mike brown has always been a bad coach , a dei hire
2 firsts + keon is too mich to give up when you could very well start a rebuild next year. Keon should stay if we are rebuilding, and losing two firsts for a guy that won’t guarantee a turnaround is too much.
Freikin
DFS and Day'Ron Sharpe, GET IT DONE FRONT OFFICE!
Trey Lyles and Cam Johnson basically is the same player
Nets gave away Schoeder for a bag of chips.
DeRozan for Cam and Sharpe!
I have watched Fox since he played high school basketball in Houston at cy creek
He never improved his game and is still not a good shooter
He was gifted with insane athletic ability and speed but he can’t hit a shot consistently
2 1st’s and Carter is a hard no. That makes no sense
The kings need another good big man. I mean a good center…
so does the entire league. There isn't a supply.
@ the way i seen, the kings need a big man to rebound the ball…
How much for Herb Jones/Trey Murphy from Pelicans? If the Kings are committed to win they have to go for it. It’s home run time. Too many losing seasons. Trade Fox for all you can get if that doesn’t work.
Pelicans already said that jones and Murphy only untouchables
Bummer, That’s exactly who the Kings need
Zion & ingram are available but expensive & both don't want to come to Sacramento
Dont drink the kool aid!!!! He will be injured soon as always
Get rid of Huerter Lyles and Len to begin with
Meh, trade for reed shepherd and picks. By next season kings will have a true pg and a returning two way carter. Trade sabonis for a defensive center. Stupid to acquire a rim protector that doesnt defend.
I really hope we don't need to pay for our bad fortunes by trading our only good one, Keon Ellis.
What caused the nose bleed ? That is scary
This would not fix anything! The needle would not move. We need to be smart.
No, not a Scam Johnson. He will spend more time in hospital than with team.
They gotta trade Murray his defense cool but he can't score on his own
Get rid of Fox. He's out there looking for a super max. Don't get bogged down with a ISO player and a diva.
This roster was so mismanaged. Now they are in a hole now they want a fire sale everybody to try to get out of the hole. The owners need to recognize this and fire sale the staff.
There's no point. The Kings could pick up Cam Johnson and they'll still be hopeless. It's time to give up and move on.
Stop with useless trades scenarios. Nobody cares about these mid-grade players that won't change what's wrong.
We do need a better bench tho. It’s part of the problem. We do need more than one player tho lol we need about three good bench to help with depth. Then we can tackle the starting unit and if it don’t work then we can start to think about the front office
Yeah, they're all lining up to trade a star player for half the Sacramento team.
Let me guess, you think you can only win if a team only has all stars. 😂 btw, if you’re a kings fan, probably should know they’re a small market team so getting a big name usually isn’t in the cards. Go root for the lakers. You’ll find your high grade players on a revolving door in that team 😂
@@obrynNY Knicks
Cam Johnson does fix the Kings though, because Kings' biggest weakness his size.
OKC doesn’t only have 1st round picks, they also have some really good young players that the Nets may want while they’re rebuilding
Bricklyn will trade anyone except Ben Simmons. Its sad Ive been a Nets fan since 1991, when they drafted Derrick Coleman, but I now refuse to watch even a single minute because ownership and the front office is heaping pile of dog shyt.
4o
Cam Johnson overrated he didn't win with Suns in Nba finals, Kings need Jonathan isaac he is more affordable
Not going to happen.
Honest review of this team -
Keegan - could be a good role player but has too low iq and low energy and lacks the skills to score or dribble , not even a good shooter , actually a bad shooter . Had one lucky year that was only decent because he was given wide open threes all season
Fox- not a good shot , not good at defense, low iq , not a dog , misses shots near rim constantly
Monk - athlete that is out of control , gets lucky some games but on average he isn’t good
Sabonis - below average , not a starter on any good team
Rest of team sucks
We’re a better team when had Terrance Davis and chimezi metu and if kept them they would be much improved by now and have good chemistry with the team
Should of kept Davion Mitchell
You're right, we need a big.
Sabonis at the 4 😂
@@RealFlankenBerry 🤣
@@RealFlankenBerry why not? He is 5 now how is that doing for us? Make change now.
@@khanhvuong9310 yea if you think Sabonis can play the 4 there’s no sense even debating.
Pluck away from vulnerable Pelicans, not a Poor east. Bolster the bench or a backup like Nurkic for Sabonis.
Adam armchump is delusional
Kings should still have -
T Davis
C metu
N queeta
D Mitchell
R Holmes
They were all super good teamsters and had good chemistry- should of kept them on the team to grow and get better
You guys are delusional
Get a new coach.
Who do you think the best coach for the Kings can you suggest?
Coaches can't shoot WIDE OPEN 3S. Thats the players job
Coaches can't make players grow taller
@@Xenferno if you play Sabonis at #4 and add one big solid 5 that take care of size.
@@clytnjms shoot less 3s attack the rim more. Get to the foul line. Isn’t it better than shooting 3s.
Keegan x Huerter for Walker kessler x John collins if Jazz agree.
Kings can only afford John Collins not Walker Kessler
2 firsts + keon is too mich to give up when you could very well start a rebuild next year. Keon should stay if we are rebuilding, and losing two firsts for a guy that won’t guarantee a turnaround is too much.
