    This is so interesting.
    I'm not sure if I knew how big a company Smith's coaches was.
    We used to go on Smith's coaches day trips when I was a kid in the 70's as a family.
    I didn't know they had quite such a long history.
    Fantastic video.

    I used to work in Rose Kiln Lane. I saw nothing like this up there though.

      I did wonder whether it was RKL or Katesgrove side of Kennet, but the Rose Kiln Lane garage does get a few mentions on internet history pages for Smith’s Coaches. There are a few ‘garages’ at the end of RKL (past Gascogne’s) on the 1950-60s OS maps.
