as a vegetarian, I don't come to your channel for vegetarian content and don't expect it here. But I love that sometimes you make dishes that do fit my diet! Jen, you already do everything so great and you continue to impress. Just WOW
Thanks for sharing! I bet everyone at your work loves seeing what you bring for lunch! Lol. Murphy is hilarious. You know he had to make it into the video! LOL love the bloopers
@Jenchapin Hi great video! I live in Pensacola, Fl and we have a seafood market named "Joe Patties" and he carries all types of fresh seafood. They even ship it all over the US fresh. Just thought I would mention them because this would be a great resource for those who do not live near a coastline and want good quality fresh seafood! Thank you again for another video of great content! Hope your having a wonderful week!
First off I want to say how much I enjoy your channel. I'm almost 70 years old, no kids or family...and I love your cooking/recipe videos since I cook for myself in order to eat. I've used Thrive Market for several years, now...and love that I can buy products not readily available in my small town grocery store...now i gotta watch this video since "bowl meals" have been my go-to during this Lockdown
Was headed to my treadmill and was super excited to see this video. And perfect length to make sure I made it at least 30 minutes! Am loving the outtakes at the end of your recent videos!
Hi Jen. You are so brave and daring when it comes to making and trying a variety of foods. BTW, I love the bloopers at the end of some of your videos. Have a great rest-of-your-week, my dear, and stay well.
My granddaughter will be visiting next month, and our favorite things to do is cook and bake. All of these bowls will so fun to make. I know she will love them. You’re awesome Jen....love your videos.😊
I have meal prepped for awhile but haven't done it much since the pandemic started and I now work from home. I used to incorporate 1 new recipe every week but have gotten away from it. This video and even your last few that I watched, have made me rethink I need to start cooking again, plus everything looks so yummy! Thanks for the inspiration!!
Hi Jen - great recipes. I love meal bowls. Would you be so kind and list your egg roll in a bowl that you did just recently. I couldn't catch the ingredients. That would be great. Thanks.
I was looking for some new lunch ideas, these are great. I love 'bowls' they seem to make lunch more interesting! Good idea on the pumpkin substitution
Less work and each bite has all the flavors. Lol my grandpa used to mix his food up and it used to gross me out and he would say "it all goes to the same place" I laugh now cause it's TRUE and some times it tastes really good 😂😂😂
I really like the new format. Ex. The sit down introduction and the preview of the meals you will be making. As well as the community tab with a schedule for the week. Thank you.
Trader Joe's new, refrigerated, organic medium salsa is the best I have had. I would be very interested to know how it compares to the Thrive salsa. Another item at TJs that you might be interested in is their Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry, not to be confused with the plain riced cauliflower. This is the freezer bag with "stir fry" in the name. It has other ingredients, like edamame, and the seasoning is delicious. The only thing I do differently is to cook it long enough for the cauliflower to start turning a little brown, because I think that adds flavor. I might be wrong, though, lol. Your bowls all turned out beautifully. Anyone would be happy to see those already prepared and ready to go in their fridge.
The Thrive salsa is more comparable to something like “Old EL Paso” but tastes better (better quality ingredients). It’s nice to have on-hand in the pantry for when you run out of the fresh stuff. 😊
Hi, Jen! All the dishes you shared are beautiful! Look out Food Network, Jen's coming for ya! Consistently thoughtful, artistic, helpful and entertaining. So fortunate to have found you❤ PS-Your hair looks awesome!🙂
Oh my, bowls are my thing. I need another cookbook like I need a hole in the head, but I picked up the Bowls one. I don't watch any other food-related channels (or else I would be hungry all day), so I rely on your recs. Thanks!
Juicing lemons/limes looks so satisfying. The only thing I can't watch you do is use a box grater. Not because of anything you do, but I get flashbacks of when I grated my finger trying to zest a lemon. It just looks like you're going to grate your fingers.
Replying to myself to ask a question. Why do you wear your wedding rings on your pointer finger? I thought it might be because they bug you while you're chopping, but you chop with your right hand. I'm super nosy! :)
i buy shef-stable cauli rice at Costco - Earthly Delights brand. 6 packets for one price. You just open the packet and microwave it. So easy. You can cook it in other ways too. I actually like cauli rice and I’ve gotten my family to eat it. Originally I mixed it half-and-half with real rice, then I started to omit some of the actual rice so they are getting more and more of the cauliflower. Also if you season it in some way they will eat it more.
Chives will be fine outside in the cold. I leave mine on my porch all Winter and they come back every Spring (plant hardy zone 6 for reference). Some other herbs may not be as hardy and will need to be brought inside.
Talk about serendipitous! Just finished the last video of your Vlogmas 2019 series, Jen. (Celebrating Christmas in July, right?). Absolutely loved the series btw. And then finishing the NYE and last video, clicked on to my new vids. And what do I find?!! This new one from you! Great start to my day.
I am interested in using fresh ginger. Thank you for your tip of keeping it in your freezer. The other question i have is do you have to peel it before using? I saw you use your micro plane on it and didn't look like you had to peel, just wanted to make sure. Thank you.
I don't know if you know this, but they also offer a free membership for low income families. We love Thrive, too!!! We get lots of goodies from them and all of our Bragg's stuff. Oh... if you haven't tried sprouted brown rice... I highly recommend... lots of added benefits and you won't know the difference. Thanks for your great videos!
Good evening Jen!! These all look delicious. I'm excited to try these. I'm definitely going to check out Thrive. I have Crohn's and my doctor has told me most people who have it have to limit their gluten so I'm going to check out Thrive. Thank you for another great video. Have a great evening and week.
I was surprised that you didn't wash the spring mix since I know what a washing-of-the-veggies person you are. Do they come already clean enough without?
I loved these ideas for lunch/dinner. except for the fish but that's just me as everyone has at least one thing they dont like lol anyway please keep showing other bowl ideas..thanks
Thanks, Jen, for such quality and diverse content! You're recipes are such an inspiration! From one of your minority gay male viewers LOL! PS - also wishing Thrive shipped to Canada!
HiJen! Thanks for these simple and easy recipes. I suffered a stroke june 18 so I'm still a little unsteady looks like I will be home for the biggest part of the summer recooperating. Love your videos.

Keep bringing the videos!! I love watching your videos. I do not watch TV. I watch UA-cam, and your channel is one of my favorites!!
I genuinely enjoy your channel and look forward to you uploads! I love that you're consistently uploading content!
BriAllMe I totally agree! I love her videos
Thanks for sharing! I bet everyone at your work loves seeing what you bring for lunch! Lol.

Was having a no good, rotten, very bad day and then your video popped up! Feeling better already. Definitely will try a bowl!
I totally get that!!! 😂😂
I wish we could get thrive in Canada 🇨🇦

I love the idea of a bowl. Idk why, but I’m so much more hyped to eat it than I am when all the components are separate on a plate.
Less work and each bite has all the flavors. Lol my grandpa used to mix his food up and it used to gross me out and he would say "it all goes to the same place" I laugh now cause it's TRUE and some times it tastes really good 😂😂😂
Thank you for always making such great content ❤️ that Buddha bowl looks like a must try.
I wish Thrive Market shipped to Canada. I’d love to order from them. Especially living in northern Canada. Food prices are crazy high!
Uggggh I'm obsessed with these things lately!! Thanks for the new ideas can't wait to try them 🥰✌️💕🇨🇦
That Buddha bowl looks fantastic! I would definitely eat that. And the tuna salad! And the chicken bowl!
Wildflower honey always seems to have the best flavor, of course I also love blackberry honey.
I really like the new format. Ex. The sit down introduction and the preview of the meals you will be making. As well as the community tab with a schedule for the week. Thank you.
Wow! These look fantastic! You put my weekday family survival meals to shame.
Everything looked so good! 😂😂 those bloopers
I also keep my ginger in the freezer. It lasts forever and it grates really easily.
They all looked delicious especially the Buddha bowl
That Buddha bowl turned out just beautifully!
These all look so delicious! You make everything look so easy to prepare!
Love the beef and rice bowl, will have to try it!

What do you do with your chive plants and whatever other herbs you’ve got growing during the colder months?
Chives will be fine outside in the cold. I leave mine on my porch all Winter and they come back every Spring (plant hardy zone 6 for reference). Some other herbs may not be as hardy and will need to be brought inside.
