in 5th grade i believe it was i had a story with a edgy umbreon with a crescent scar named Eclipse, his sister Frost (a glaceon) and his love interest (a sylveon) if it makes you feel any better 🙏 it was always with the eeveelutions back then fr. thanks for making this video!! i might go redraw some of my old pokémon oc stuff now :] i really enjoy these ‘let’s review!’ videos for the commentary and nostalgia value
i used to have a sylveon oc named glimmer, and me and my best friend used to ship our ocs together (this was back in like 2017, also my best friends oc was an espeon named wisp)
it was not only cringey but also embarrassing

The main character was crying in the rain, got caught in a mud slide, got plunged into the raging waves of the ocean, was then caught in a hurricane and finally thrown into a tree on a remote island. I think she also got stuck by lightning. The first character I had the guts to kill. And then she became a ghost with horns and wings obviously. Rain also hurts her, a weakness that never comes up again. Does all water hurt her or just rain? WHO KNOWS :DDDDD

Yeah, my sister almost ALWAYS watches these really cringy eeveelution love stories and they're almost always about heartbreak and the pokemon heartbroken turns all black with red eyes and unlock their *SUPER ULTRA MARY SUE POWERS* and annihilates the other pokemon. JUST WHYYYYY....

I did this too! At the ripe age of EIGHT. It was a comic called “Way of a shiny” and it was about all the normal eeveelutions hating the shiny eeveelutions and stuff. I’m planing on rewriting it.
I also made an Eeveelution comic, where the normal and shiny Eeveelutions were on separate teams and fought for the heroes’ (normal Eeveelutions) territory, though it was only touched upon in one chapter. The story’s main conflict was the Umbreon and Vaporeon having a troubled relationship, yet still full of pining as the Umbreon struggled with the wrath of some evil spirit. Fun times.
I did that when I was 7 but it was about a but it was about a Zorua cuz idk
I was born and raised in the time where “cringe” an “psparkledog/cats oc’s” and “edgy warrior cats” started to get stamped out. Because of this I find it really hard to just have fun when making an oc.
I literally just make sparkleddog/cat and edgy Warriors OCs on purpose. Because screw it. I even acknowledge my inner edgelord is showing and basically say "if you don't like it, then go right ahead".

No this is normal . I used to fold up paper into mini comics that starred four eevees who all had crushes on each other . I went down into my old art cabinet a month ago to fetch a drawing pen and I saw at least 18 of these in one cabinet .

I had many old comic series relating to Pokémon when I was younger
One was unnamed but it was about a shiny magnemight in a group of magnemights that was bullied for being shiny. He wanted to seek revenge and become a strong magnezone, so he ran away to *seek glory*. On his way, he comes across a group of other shinies and he’s like “you guys are different too!” And they’re all just like “yep!” I remember the leader of the group was a shiny haunter (I don’t remember it’s name)
The other one was “the adventures of Dratini and Arbok” it was about an Arbok who had recently gone to a town of Pokémon and was good friends with a small Dratini named Sally
I don’t remember any more, but I’m working on an eeveelution one as of now.

The original feels like one of those animes where some basic, boring, Generic-looking guy is for some reason the love interest for like… 15 uniquely designed female characters. But this time they’re Pokémon, and instead of 15 girls being in love with one boring guy it’s five guys in love with one female character in a comic made by an eleven year old.
But, we all started with something like that, right? We where all kids once, and if you didn’t make edgy, poorly made OCs, did you even live?
If this comic did ever get remade I’d love to see it! I’m sure that many people, including myself, would love to read it.
the way I ALSO had a pokemon oc phase when I was like 9,,,,, I had straight up like 4 fanfictions (which I never finished, didnt even start some of them), a comic folded on paper and a full on fucking fliplaclip animated series about them, all of them were umbreon x glaceon with a shitton of the most cliche settings ever and excessive angst and violence that might have been concerning for my mother when she found a paper I had wrote especifically about a female shiny umbreon torturing the female glaceon protagonist because of some yandere shit or something

I remember I made a recolor of Funtime Foxy as an oc and shipped it hard with Nightmare Foxy. I hated myself for it before I knew that was normal for 11 year olds to do that 😅
