As someone with BPD, here's how I would describe it: I'm a _child,_ emotionally speaking. I get _very easily_ frustrated or upset. The good part is: it works both ways. I need _very little_ to be happy... as long as I'm not stressed in any way (which is an issue, as everyday life and interpersonal relationship involves stress). This doesn't mean that I go about my life constantly screaming and crying. ... I _want_ to do those things constantly. But rigorous self-control helps me suppress the desire to act upon my emotions. But it is still _exhausting._
Thanks for the explanation! Is BPD a disorder which doctors would try an suppress with psychoactive medication or do they more propose the route of hormon supplements? Because I have had friends taking either, and the medication are so horribly strong and have different (side-)effects.
I had a lot of experience with BPD people - for some reason I can easily connect with them. What you desribed is the basis of this disorder, yet from my experience this can induce a whole bunch of very strong secondary symptoms: - The constant fear to be an outcast or being left is something - sadly this is mostly based on truth since most BPD people aren't easy to deal with. - Because of the high stress level I saw many of them having regular break downs, panic attacks or even psychosis. - The constant need to release stress or numb the pain leads to a list of self hurting behaviour. Like drug abuse, cutting, sexual escapades, etc. - Extreme emotions also cause extreme perception. That includes others and oneself. I knew a case where the person could shift from a mere god complex to feeling completely worthless in less than an hour. I have a lot a sympathy for BPD people and wish you all the best to be strong with your extreme emotions. Have a nice day.
@@JumpOverYourShadow Yup. I just didn't want to go into the rather bleak detail of what it all entails. The most important point to get across is the first one, though. The "hard to deal with" point. Because many people upon hearing that think "oh, well, that's ok. I can handle it. David over here will just act a bit emotional sometimes, no biggie". No. "David over here" will at some point _hate_ you, if you (or he) allow the two of you to become close. But the "funniest" part is - he won't be hating you all the time. He'll only do it _sometimes._ And other times he'll genuinely _love_ you. Not fun for either side.
Interesting vid, not sure I really agree with your take on huntress being bad. She's slow, very predictable, and has no gen defense. But she also has great chase potential and one of the highest lethality powers imo. You can easily spread damage on multiple people from a distance which not many other killers can do. As for she's weak against top % survivors, could you not say the same about any other killer? What makes huntress a special case to someone like wesker. Good players will just as easily do well against a hutress when looping as wesker. Both have scenarios where you would down a survivor the other couldnt have. Because of her strong power I don't believe she's weak. But maybe I'm missing something.
I would say that is an incomplete line of thinking. What you are comparing are the ways the killers win. So the best killers are going to be the killers that give survivors the least amount of options to get away and who does it the fastest. So while there may be scenarios that huntress can down someone that wesker couldn't. How often and how long does it take for that situation to produce itself? That is why Blight, Nurse, Wesker, are the most successful killers. Now if huntress hatchet could ricochet then I would say she could be more threatening.
@blankiepoo she has near guaranteed hits if you play well where survivors are animation locked, I'm not saying it's guaranteed or anything but it's at least something that makes her consistent. Her range and large amount of hatchets to me at least makes her a threat. Pre raising a hatchet at loops can prevent a survivor from safely going for a window or pallet, she has near guaranteed hits In thin hallways/corridors. Overall I don't think she's bad at all
@zacattak4837 yes but when it comes to the animation lock what projectile or semi projectile killer doesn't do it better outside of trickster? huntress strengths come from the mid range to long range game. the problem is at that distance if you are getting hit by a hatchet you are not doing basic game mechanics. huntress can't force survivors out into the open to take advantage of her hatchets is the problem. she has a slow base movement speed and if you hug objects forcing her to come close you are just turning her into a slow m1 killer.
Tru3 saying Huntress is weak but he drops that sexy shot at 7:14. She's definitely not the best killer with her pressure, but she has enough going for her to put the whole team in a bad spot.
I see a lot of people try and use your performance with a killer to try and create a red herring away from the actual topic. For instance, in some of your past videos with huntress with titles saying shes not good people picked apart how "poorly" you played as an argument of just saying "youre bad" instead of actually talking about the topic at hand. Wild that people dont understand the simple concept of separating ones own performance from an opinion of usefulness, objectively.
I think trues wording is what’s wrong, Her strengths are really good in very particular situations, he strengths can allow her to do things most killers cannot do. On the flip side she has massive weaknesses that other killers don’t have and her lullaby is definitely outdated in the current meta.
All of these opinions from streamers are coming from people with thousands of hours and play all day everyday. So while they are very good and knowledgeable about dbd, their views don't reflect the average persons experience. At intermediate level where most people play, huntress is incredibly popular and incredibly good.
Yes Tru, we did notice no crosshair on the screen after you missed 10 easy hatchets xD Also it's not a virtue to play without it, devs are fine with crosshairs
Play against that level of survivor then u have a reason to say they r easy trust me jus cuz some looks ez don't mean it is ppl needs stop egoing that shit
Title says huntress bad and then the video shows that she's actually incredibly good lol. I don't know why you hate the killer so much it's weird to me
I think he obviously means that the Huntress is bad in comparison to the other strong killers, and much worse than most people rate her. If you have to put in more effort to get the same result, that is a worse tool for the job.
Well, my take on Huntress has always been that people have always rated her higher than what she really is. That’s just me though. She suffers from what most killers suffer with in the game. Slightly kinda worse in some areas. She has no built in slow down, horrible mobility (110% movement speed) and very small to nonexistent map pressure. Reloading with her is far worse than reloading with Clown’s bottles or another killer waiting on a power to recover from cooldown. (Which is why I kinda understand why they gave her 2 extra hatchets.) I get it, she’s a ranged killer and she throws hatchets. Im not saying she’s bad. She has potential but she’s definitely overrated to me.
@@DreadBoi504 i agree she is a bit overated on side of flexibility. Huntress can't perform as optimal on some sets due to RNG, map desing and more regular playstyles, but in the other hand, i feel she can be really good when you put hours and get really consistent/brave with her.
Cmon tru, you played really well this game and it gave you a dominating win. In other games you played poorly and you blamed the killer. Huntress is only as good as you play her, she's not bad by any means. If you play like this every huntress match you'd change your opinion after seeing the wins rack up. Either way you're still my favorite dbd content creator
You could have the best player in the world playing the worst character and win with them, that doesn't make the character good. Tru looks at the characters based on the kits and how easily they are countered. Blight for instance, there are things you can try to do against him but blight has very few situations where he outright loses where as huntress has a lot of situations where they are either at a disadvantage or hard losing. And I main huntress, granted im not a pro or anything but I would say I am better than average huntress player.
@@blankiepoo Yes but if you watch tru3 you know he'll blame the killer before he blames his performance. Huntress is nowhere near as "bad" as he says, every other youtuber puts her in A tier for good reason (and no my opinion doesn't stem from their opinions). And of course you'd say this if you main huntress, most mains like to say their killer is bad 😂😂
@mikeoxlong4812 i explained why she is weak compared to the higher tier characters in not saying i feel she is bad I'm giving reasons for why she is bad.
