Hello! Welcome to my channel, hope my video helps and can you guys subscribe and help me grow my UA-cam channel pls. Thanks a lot and I appreciate it very much.💚🙏👍
so I and E to each other and crank notch to TDC right? This is the best video so far Ive seen. I think mine skipped a few teeth because i have I and E together and TDC mark is out to lunch but when TDC mark is at TDC the cams never line up I and E to each other or any other common refence points so Im thinking I skiped a tooth it died when i was revving it up in the driveway to warm it and then it cranked weird after that so I pulled the cover(s) and some belts and the crank pully and saw it was out of line (I think)
Just review the video on 6:10-6:54. I(intake) and E(exhaust) must be aligned and the notch on the timing belt sprocket and the arrowhead shape on the side of the engine must be aligned also. Thanks for visiting. 🤙
You'll turn the tensioner clockwise just to hook the tensioner spring and only the tensioner spring will maintain the timing belt tension. If the timing belt is loose because the tensioner spring is no longer on specs it must be replaced. Thanks for your interest in my video.
Hello, did you see that outside of the pulley and toothwheel rotate ? between 00:59 and 01:09 but not the crankshaft (the center of pulley), maybe you have lost the good timing mark on cover and the pulley is dead.
Hello Arnaud, this repair was done for quite sometime now and the car is still running, timing set up is on 3:00. Thanks for watching and for your interest in my videos.
Hello Bruce! When doing a DIY and you're the camera man as well, it's not unusual to forgot to turn on the camera and that's what happened here, sorry. It's a very straightforward repair, one bolt holds the tensioner pulley and just remove and replace. Thanks a lot for watching and for your interest in my videos. Regards and Aloha!

What about the tensioner pulley? Seems incomplete to not cover that.
