I can only think of the follwing reasons why the Drajeweled played like this He probably didn't know that Masques of Hydragum worked like that, he probably thought he could of just use Masques of Hydragum to superior ride into Drajeweled Masques again and probably didn't realize that he misplayed. He also probably thought that Persona Ride Stacked as earlier he Persona Rides into another regular Drajeweled and then used Masques of Hydragum to ride into Drajeweled Masques which is a waste as he could have used the Regular Drajeweled later in the fight He probably also thought that re-riding into Drajeweled Masques was not an option as he probably thought he can only ride into a Masques unit with Masques of Hydragum's ability. Lastly he probably didn't know that the Regalis piece worked like that. So yeah long story short, the Drajeweled player definitely needs more practice in using the deck, was still an enjoyable fight regardless.
Bud was just showing off how perfectly they knew the order of both players' decks :D But nah, "didn't know that the Regalis piece worked like that" is absolutely crazy; it does one thing and it's exactly that one thing :P
That's where I got it; if you like playing Vanguard and/or want to learn or practice, it lets you do that. Story modes give you plenty of playtime and matchmaking is usually not a super long queue. Is that worth the $90 - $300 to you depending on how much DLC you want? Try the demo, see if you like how it plays, it's a personal choice.
