Wow - that is fantastic playing. You have developed into an outstanding cellist and the word genius is not out of place. I think that in time there is a possibility that you may be regarded is one of the greatest ever cellists.
i watched 'a cellist audition' which made me want to learn it. shes on youtube still i believe. but im just here roaming to see others perform it because i know she did not go by the sheet music on some parts.
Good luck. Parnass version is a wonderful one! Tamar loved it! Still she has her own interpretation and is bery young and follow the exact sheet music .
Oh, Sorry for responding only now. Thank you so muh! She has finished her first degree in Cello, in Tel Aviv Univ. cum Laude and has played in Several orchestras and chamber Music
Do you have any tips in terms of successfully playing this piece? Whether regarding double stops, octaves or how long did it take to have this piece memorized from when you started it?
That's some good technique :) I wonder why you look so bored while playing, it looks like you don't care at all. The tiny smile at the end seemed to me like "oh yeah, it's finally over"... It's a shame, you're a good cellist.
I am going to be 100% honest. She just doesn’t have the technique for this extremely difficult piece! That’s why it is very out of tune. You have to build up a solid technique before you play this piece!
