The basement lyric is about them literally starting at like nothing. You may see pre-debut videos of the group in this green basement room, because that is actually where they started. They had almost no budget and were from a nearly bankrupt company. So when he talks about the basement, he’s talking how they came from almost nothing.
Once again, love your reaction to some of my favorite songs. It’s really hard to pick a favorite. My favorite is usually whichever I’m watching the time. That being said, all of the songs you’ve reacted to so far have amazing dance practices and/or choreography versions to go along with them. So you should definitely check those out because their dancing is phenomenal.
I love your comment about it being hard to pick out who is the leader of which subunit, because the entire team can basically do all three. The rappers sing really well, the singers dance really well, and the dancers can do it all. With such an extensive discography, and them being self producing, they have given us so many different styles of music. My next suggestion for you would be their episode of the Killing Voice, where you get samples of the type of stuff they have to offer,especially the earlier stuff.

6:46 The song lyrics are a lot about how they started from a small company in a small basement room and built up their success and eventually led to a big building for their company, like they’re talking about how many mouths to feed (13 members…13 chairs at the round table in the MV) and how far they’ve come
I recommend their song Getting Closer next! It’s a cool song!
I also recommend their Killing Voice video. It’s like a 20 minute medley of some of their discography and it’s such a fun watch! I also wanna point out that Ateez has a Killing Voice video now too 😊

I was trying to decide whether to watch more music videos by Ateez first to not get spoilers, or to just watch dingo to find out what Ateez songs I’ll like the best! Yeah svt❤ the leader of hip hop unit is 1st guy in red S.coups, the leader of performance unit is 2nd guy Hoshi with blonde hair and the leader of vocal one is Woozi 🙃I also recom. You my fav svt song "Getting closer" its very upbeat or if you want try something else their japan debut "call call call" is also amazing 🙃

Ahhh I’m glad you liked this! It’s def one that got me solidified on them as my ult group.
Definitely check out Spell, Lalali and Cheers to Youth but I think you’ll probably vibe most with the first two. Of some more non-unit songs, I’m actually going to recommend one of their Japanese songs, 24H. Something a little lighter, I suggest Rock With You and Left & Right.
Mr. Whispers is S.Coups - he’s the leader of the whole group but also of the hip hop unit. But these three in particular can all rap, all sing and all dance. Like, SCoups I think was almost in vocal and Woozi almost in performance.
You were right on picking the performance unit leader Hoshi. Woozi is vocal unit lead but more than that he’s the one that produces most of their songs.
Yes the leaders are crazy talented!! They killed it with this one!! I’ll put these recommendations on my list of SVT songs to check out in the future! Oh wow that’s cool the whispering guy is the leader of the whole group as well!! His rapping tone and everything is great!! Omg Woozi’s part is stuck in my head!! His vocals are insanely good! Also Hoshi really KILLED it with dancing!!
Hello fellow carat here , I want to correct you on something actually hoshi was the one who would've became a vocalist but the only confirmed one was woozi because woozi was actually trained to be part of the performance unit but ended up in vocal because he produced everything for them and hoshi choreography :), also hoshi being in the vocal unit is just rumors their not true because he was trained to be part of the performance unit but it's just an assumption because his vocals are the best if we are talking performance and hip-hop unit and honestly he could pass as a lead vocalist in any other group :)
For basement lyric he's saying we started from 2 pyeong and a basement which is actually true they had nothing they company was almost bankrupt and all their predebut videos were inside the green basement room :") , which he follows by saying look where we are now every one is following us and trying to keep up with us, which means even though hey started low now their higher than before and everyone looks up to them, also the one that you liked his rap part a lot he's actually the vocal tea, leader woozi also in his part he's saying too many mouths to feed , what do we with food, explains their struggle with their company being bankrupt and their literally 13 of them , also he's says we don't now how high we'll meaning when they started they had no idea if they'll success waiting for them or not, also he's said they said we'd crash and burn which also means everyone doubted their success but now they all want a peace of them lol,, also fun fact the company was so broke when they debuted that the mv was literally filmed by the members and during their debut showcase they couldn't even afford in ears for the performance 😭😭😭 my boys went through a lot ...
Oh my gosh I had to clue they went through so much! I hate that they went through all of that, but I’m so glad they are successful now and made their dreams come true, even though people doubted them! Also that’s a crazy that they filmed their first music video themselves😱 That shows how dedicated they were to making their music careers happen even though it was difficult in the beginning.
I have found a new fave svt reactor!! I love your energy so much!! most of seventeen's songs are hype and upbeat in which i know you'll love, they also have the most beautiful ballad songs. they are versatile!! Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. Liked this one on 1st listen. Catchy rap is the best for me. Loved the whispering. I see why we getting that in other songs now, sigh. Pests. =0p Hoshi is something else for sure. 0.0 Whoozi pulls of the punk vibe to a tee. S. Coups looks great in red and white. Liked the fits and makeup. S. Coups we see 1st, then Hoshi, last is Woozi. S. Coups is Hip Hop so it was really funny u switched him with Woozi who is their main producer and the leader of the vocal unit. Woozi i hear could have been in the performance unit too but he chose vocal. SVT all can dance and rap and sing. All aces in this group. And if u watch more vids u would be able to tell who is who. Lol yes I was so confused on who was the leader of each unit because they are good at everything!!😂 Yes after editing I could tell who is who in this video now!! Also lol yes Hoshi was killing it too much, so I figured he had to be the dancer!!
