Thanks, cool vid! I converted to orthodoxy from protestantism about 5 yrs ago and have been a long time bible studier, but have only just discovered (or have had my eyes opened to) the DR. I just ordered a couple days ago the first two bibles you showed.

I have the Confraternity Edition and just ordered the St Benedict DR in large print. I love this translation.

What the last Bible you have is the Confraternity Edition only 25% of the Bible printed that year is the Douay-Rheims version

You are correct; the reviewer failed to mention any of this. The books from Genesis to Ruth, and Job to Sirach, are NOT the Douay. They were translated by the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) from the original languages, NOT the Vulgate. The New Testament is the 1941 edition from the CCD, translated from the Vulgate; it is a revision of the Challoner-Rheims version. The Historical and Prophetic books in the OT are the only books from the Douay version. NONE of the NT is the Rheims. To call this edition a Douay-Rheims is misleading.
