Soule's work is amazing and beyond words! He is one of the greatest composers ever and he makes the games come alive with his music. Truly a mastermind.
I can't argue with that!
Jeremy really does deeserve the accodlade of the John Williams of Game Music. He is a tremendously gifted composer. Ancient Stones is my favourite composition, but they're all brilliant.
let's hope he keeps the magic going!
Thanks so much for taking the time to do this! Saves me having to keep 'skipping' the more aggressive battle music every 5-10 minutes while I'm trying to work...
l337z0r haha, i used to do the same thing on youtube. so i finally bit the bullet and bought a bunch of his music and made my own compilations. :)
+Andrew Gulledge can u send me the cd
Reuben Ahmed lol dude, just buy it. i posted a link in the description.
Well said, thank you OP!
I am here literally studying often 90+ hours a week in med school, and was in desperate need of something new, but familiar, to get me through comps. This is definitely the ticket. Thanks for putting this together.
+Zach Warner I'm so glad to hear it helps! There really is a magic in this music.
I also love some of his work in the early Harry Potter games.
TIL, I will look into that ty
It's truly amazing that you not only selected the music for its thematic tone but you also organized the 125 tracks alphabetically by title. // You are someone who makes this world a better place. And I thank you for your generous spirit and commitment to excellence.
what can i say? i love the alphabet
it's awesome that an alphabetical list of jeremy soule's works results in such a great playlist! that guy is a genius, i've been listening to his soundtracks for almost 15 years now and i connect so many good experiences, adventures and (not wasted) hours in front of my pc with this music. thanks for sharing
totally agree! :)
Just played Skyrim like 2 hours ago, now studying and I listen to this, something magical :)
awesome! it is such beautiful music, especially to just have on in the background
Great Work! Brilliant Music!!! Sure hope Jeremy works on the next Elder Scrolls. The game will not be the same without him
Why would you want to work for people who simply take an accuser's word and use it to discipline you without any corroborating evidence?
I have only recently become familiar with Jeremy Soule's work and absolutely love it! Thank you for doing what you do!!
This is really great. Big fan of Jeremy's music. Thanks for putting this compilation together.
Thank you so much for this. GW2 and ES music really takes me back, so damn soothing.
+Justa Guy GW1*, not GW2 it's bleh
Woah this must have taken longer than the video itself. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT.
Guild Wars & TES were his best works, no diggity !
No ads.. thank you
Excellent compilation, I checked the list and I own all of these soundtracks, this list is perfect, DS2 has a lot of agressive tracks but the relaxing ones are great, I will make a list on my mp3 player from these, perfect music when painting and drawing and doing anatomy studies!
+Danny Kundzinsh glad you like it! i really like this peaceful compilation as well, and it's the perfect background listening! i tell my wife it's the soundtrack of my life :)
Painting, drawing... do you have a website to show your work?
i love you Jeremy Soule
AMAZING. Thank you so so so much for this!
Thank you for this amazing compilation!
so incredibly beautiful
This is a great compilation; perfect for studying; and such a beautiful music.
Thankyou for the tracklist and the timestamps. :)
Wow! Listened to every minute of this video, such a masterpiece. Thank you for posting!
glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful, thank you for sharing.
you made an incredible music video thanks, I love jeremiy soule
Excellent Compilation.
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is magnificent
Thanks alot man for this! :) Really helpful
woot!
It appears he's sitting on the beach at Spanish Banks or Kitsilano in Vancouver in this photo.
Loving Jerremy Souls music my son showed me it on his games. It really helps my studies.Would love to go to a concert is he ever on tour?
+reen slane I do not think so, but you'll never know.
Friend him on Facebook.
He had a live concert in London, hopefully he will go to more places
Zero interest in electronic gaming...but I love this guy. Is nice to know that game music has progressed beyond "beep boop biddly bop beep boop beep."
This is aweome. It would have been damn near perfect if it included his work from Kotor as well!
great cover image
Nice picture of Vancouver.
I love Jeremy put that pic of him barefoot sitting on a rock with his midi controller is pretty awful
Wind Guide You
You picked well. I noticed that I was moving to an elevated level of universal empathy and when I looked to identify the track it was "Wind Guide You."
I read to this ALL the time. This music goes remarkably well with Brandon Sanderson's books. ;)
(or any other)
It does! I'm listening to it with Oathbringer right now!
Great for sleeping
Favourite 2:12:00 (the gathering storm)
I was wondering if anyone could identify the piece that starts around the 1:52:21 mark, it is rather beautiful. Thank you.
Edit: Didn't realise the song titles had been put in the description. Feeling a bit daft right now.
anUnsungPower no worries, dude. glad you enjoy the music! :)
Andrew Gulledge I am, thank you. It's helping to keep me concentrated on my revision for exams that are coming up.
My favourite is at: 1:22:30 :)
simplemente genial Jeremy Soule al igual que Hans Zimmer :-)
me alegro que le guste! Los dos son tremendos músicos!
+Andrew Gulledge y muchas gracias por este gran aporte :-)
john erazo es verdad me encanta hans zimmer y descubri a jeremi gracias a dungeon siege 2 te envian a otro universo
los dos son buenisimos amigo.
Good compilation! I think it needs a bit of magic from Icewind Dale and maybe Neverwinter Nights as well! Are these not games you've played as well? The Kuldahar Theme is brilliant.
+Kobus van der Merwe thanks! i read Icewind Dale many years ago, and about 20 salvatore books after that, lol. I played NWN at some point, but something about this music i find just amazing. i think i listened to some of those soundtracks at one point, but i'm pretty picky with these compilations.
Anyways I really want a Skyrim mod that combines all of TES and gw soundtracks together because I think gw music goes well with TES
yep, he's a great composer! check out his "northern diaries"
you should listen to some of the azurik rise of perathia ost it was also jeremy soule
Bit disappointed there's nothing from KOTOR or GW2, but great compliation nonetheless. Thanks!
Sorry to hear that! I have GW2 in my other videos.
Cool, I probably would have seen that I finished this comp and started the second one :)
edit: i just realized I started on #3 lol
Needs moar Neverwinter Nights. Nice jerb tho
You shoulda included some "secret of evermore" ost.
Where was taken the photograph of Jeremy Soule on this video ? Does someone know the lake ?
not sure, but maybe around vancouver BC? kind of looks like that area
@@AndrewGulledge I'm willing to search for that location !
Over The Shiverpeaks (ua-cam.com/video/f6CN9Q2_hmw/v-deo.html ) is probably my favorite game music ever.
Anyone know what song is at 1:42:00 ?
Mrunreal I'm not completely sure but I think this is from Guild Wars 2 soundtrack.
Thanks mate, I'll check it out.
Mrunreal just updated the description with the songs and times
Andrew Gulledge Wow, must have taken a while? Thanks a lot!
Mrunreal You're welcome! I used some tricks in Excel, so it wasn't entirely manual :)
why no supreme commander OST? :(
+cobrazax It's not necessarily the most peaceful of OSTs... but there are definitely some songs that would fit in to this compilation.
+Beato the Golden I listened through it and couldn't find any that really fit. I am pretty picky with these. :)
Andrew Gulledge
Fair enough, I suppose.
Can anyone tell me what the instrument is that starts at 8:47? It sounds sort of harpsichordy...
I think a hammered dulcimer
Thanks so much!
Once I asked Jeremy about that and he said: It was piano string hit by pens. : )
@@RTCW96 Did you talk to him???
Where are total annihilation and total annihilation kingdoms?
not sure! i don't really do these compilations anymore.
@@AndrewGulledge okay
@@christiaangritter5381 maybe you can pick up the torch! this guy's music is so stinking beautiful
Perhaps I might...
Have a good day
@@christiaangritter5381 you too :D
I still don't understand how such a vile and disgusting person can create such emotional soundtracks... Anyways I still like to listen to the music as the music is what counts and not the person. Still it has a bad aftertaste though...
consider that maybe he's not actually a vile and disgusting person? sometimes the simplest answer is the best.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet
