Your hair is so beautiful! I FINALLY did the twist out right on my 4c hair recently but did not know how to maintain it. I didn't necessarily care for day 2 hair on my hair. I will try your method the next time because yours looked good everyday! Thank you so much for sharing
Thank you for saying you don’t do pineapples. I always thought there was something I was doing wrong but I’m happy to know it just don’t work for some 4c peeps. It always ruins my twist outs.

islandgalD I only wear a scarf bcuz the bonnet I had wit the elastic band duz my edges wrong so I haven't used a bonnet n a long time I use my scarf r sleep wit my hair naked on my satin pillow
plush furr I've always said I'd invest in a satin pillow but the thought of sleeping with nothing on my head seems so weird to me lol 😂 I have that problem when the bonnet is new but my big head always stretches it out after 2-3 uses lol. But growing up I used head scarfs all the time

I’m a male and I’m new to this .Why do my two strand twist stick up when I untwist them .I think my hair is 4c.How do I get them laying down like that ?
I honestly pin the twists on my hairline down so that it falls into my face properly when I do the twist out. otherwise I face the same issue that you do, and I use heavier products so I'm unsure about the replies.

I used my satin scarf to protect my edges and turn my bonnet inside out because the outside seems to be more satin.
