    The performance of this engineering masterpiece is simply staggering.I just cannot visualise a load of 3200 Tons!

    I've got this one, but it's still in the two boxes shrink wrapped together as they were 2 years ago when sent to me. I dont want to open the boxes until I'm good and ready to build it. Or until some one is ready to offer me more than I gave for it 😁👍💰💰

    For that much money, WSI should have thrown on some hydraulic lines and tiny graphics. But it still is, without profanity, a very nice rendition of the actual crane. Excellent review too, by the way.

    Such an insanely enormous model! I wonder how big this thing is in real life, you might need a Liebherr LTM 11200 to assemble this crane

    The turning speed according to the pdf from sarens is actually 6 degree/min so actually take 1 hr to turn 360 degree!

    This is one of those things that I would love to have but have no idea where I would keep it. Super cool though. Kinda funny an off the shelf nut and bolt works well for a scale model. Thank you for posting.

      that's if you can afford it....its over $1K....Jesus Christ.....I want this model so bad...but I can buy many more 1/50 scale Liebherrs with 1k lol

    the original takes one hour for a full rotation. saw the model in the sarens office and it looks great.

    switch the boom bolts, looks like long are in front boom, and short one on back which is thicker than the front as noted in pic

    could you do a review on the sword 4x4 or 6x6 (depending on choice) p series snow plow ? its a great model and it will cost you relatively little! it also looks great as a bulky dump truck ! :D

    So a friend of mine was a teacher at the iron workers of NW Indiana 595 Apprentiship Hall.They had a red/white giant crane on display.Not half as big as this one but I was told that crane kit was about 750.oo.Man....I just wanted to play wiff it in the dirt....lol

    Das kann doch nicht wahr sein!! Da baut man ein sehr realitätsnahes Modell und der Hauptmast wird mit normalen Sechskantschrauben als Gelenken zusammengebaut. Hat der wahrscheinlich doch hohe Preis nicht mehr für ein paar modellgerechte Bolzen gereicht?

    super massive model, base on the review, it looks like the MAMMOET PTC CRANE has better detail since it comes with BALLAST WEIGHTS and has its own LUFFING BOOM

      This thing is the worlds largest Ring Crane in RL so alot of times. you can see Big Carl at work in the UK at a nuclear power plant construction site

    I left a half eaten apple on the real crane deck. I don't see it on the model... So its not realistic.

      It can be variable as you can load 1-32 of the containers and it depends on the type of sand and how much you fill the containers

      florian mueller Uhm, you can get PLENTY of cars for that amount of money.
      I'm talkoung about several good condition BMWs (3 series, 5 series (E34)), several VW Models (Passats and co) and so much more.
