Prior to becoming married I mastered being silent when I am upset so I can assess how and why I am feeling a type of way. When the anger subsides and I can identify exactly what upset me then I go and speak with him respectfully. I would never be able to forgive myself I said something I would regret to my husband and hurt him. A mans ego is so fragile.

After 60+ years of life, my advice to any man in such a situation would be, "One strike and she's out." Life is short and challenging enough without having to come home to *any* verbal abuse and/or disrespect. If you let it pass, even once, you're showing her you're a simp and she'll continue to treat you accordingly. Being "emotional", "hormonal", or "hangry" are the excuses of a child, not an adult. You don't need that. Move on. Find a woman who loves and respects you (there are 3.5 BILLION of them out there!). Failing that, you'd be amazed how serene living alone can be.
