Well, there is surprisingly a lot of residents that don't support non resident tag sales. May as well bar all VA residents from OTC/draw elk states. The revenue generated from just non-res applications for this hunt has to be a pretty substantial amount of the profits made from this drawing. Not suprising to see hunters not support hunters.
@t luddite If you leave it up to to the game commission I remember when Virginia Game Commission was control by the outdoors man not the state we were independant

It would've been better if they showed the actual "random draw" from the computer itself to ensure they weren't picked any other way.

Random drawing could produce 5 sequential numbers. These are clumped up far from my customer id # but that's random numbers for you.

I think most just wanted the first couple years (especially the 1st) to be Virginia residents only.
Considering most states dont offer NR tags when there are less than 10 tags available, it seems like we should be on par with them
