Diamond Back - Keystone Ski Resort - Awesome Black Run - GoPro POV

- Diamond Back is an awesome black (Expert) ski run at Keystone Ski Resort. This is my favorite way to get back to the North Peak and is an alternative to using Mozart (which I don't like). It's rarely very busy, especially in the mornings, and is often times groomed. When it's not, it tends to get bumped out. If you don't like moguls, check the Keystone Trail status to see if it has been groomed. Diamond Back is accessed from the Scout bunny hill run, which is in-between Ruby Express and the Ranger chair lift. The entrance is at the end of the Scout trail. A little hard to find which is probably why there's not a ton of traffic on it very often.

Keystone Resort is a ski resort located in Keystone, Colorado, United States. Since 1997 the resort has been owned and operated by Vail Resorts. It consists of three mountains - Dercum Mountain, North Peak, the Outback - and five Bowls (Independence, Erickson, Bergman, North and South Bowls) offering skiing at all levels. The three mountains are connected by a series of ski lifts and gondolas and access from two base areas called River Run and Mountain House.

Loving the music addition. Makes your video feel all surreal and stuff if I'm using that word correctly
Thanks, appreciate that
Have you skiied mineshaft? it looks like another good trail to get over to North Peak
Mine-Shaft is definitely another good way to get over to North Peak. The difference between it and Diamond-Back is that it dumps you out on lower prospector just past Mozart where-as Diamond-Back will put you right at the bottom of the Santiago Express chair. Also, Mine-Shaft typically has quite a few moguls. I'm planning on adding a video of Mine-Shaft this season. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info. Haven’t skied there before so it’s good to know before trip planning!
