- Today we had a fire drill at school during my open period and I decided to record it. This will be the last fire alarm video I record from my school as I'll be graduating this month.
Credit to all.
The way their tones are all slightly different sounds so cool. It's like some kind of atmospheric drone music.
Congratulations on Graduation! I love the sound of the mechanical horns!
The alarms sound like bees buzzing and a chainsaw.
1:24 that horn sounds sooo good!
So, do they pass, inspector? (JK, amazing video. It's not often you get to see -9220's, and they sound so clean, too!)
Congratulations on graduating soon🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Alarms:
Simplex 4903-9220's
Simplex 4906-9228
Simplex 4903-9239
Wheelock MT
1. That's a 4906-9128 not 9228.
2. There's also some 4903-9219/9215/9217 alarms mixed in.
3. There's a 4904-9162 strobe in the bathroom.
4. It may be a 4903-9236, 9237 or 9238.
5. There's also a Wheelock NS
That Wheelock NS at the end has seen better days. Does the strobe even work?
Nope, the strobe doesn't work at all. There's 4 Wheelock NS's outside (one of them is white), and only one has a working strobe. Even then the strobe is yellowed.
@@Firealarm2I thought Wheelock never made a Weatherproof NS. I'm pretty sure it was only the AS and MT.
That was actually an MT
nice, sadly my old middle school (which is the 2nd middle school i attended back in 8th grade) had the simplex 4903s and now they are replaced with system sensor l series voice evac
Some of these sound lower pitched than usual. And Suprisingly they are set to Continuous. This reminds me of my job's fire alarm system. They have Simplex 4901-9805 horns with Wheelock LSM strobes. and wheelock ch remote chimes for prealarm activation. but when its in General alarm, Continuous is its set coding.
great vid tho.
Do any of the classrooms have horns?
No, none of the classrooms have any horns. There is however a Wheelock MT-24-LSM in the band room.
0:26 uhh that’s the wrong way to mount
I agree but the strobe can be seen in all angles so the strobe is the only thing that is correct.
