I really like how softly Jonathan speaks in interviews, when we all know what voice he can bring up
Nothing compared to job for a cowboy
bumpmystump 《》 what?
+Matěj Rytych I know that many people say that he's a very nice guy, but I think that he's actually a real badass at the same time.
Ikr. Perhals it's BECAUSE of that he speaks softly otherwise. So as to save straining his voice for the music, lol. Or maybe a the years of vocals is catching up.
*perhaps. Good grief, typing on touchscreen is hard compared to keyboards. XD
love these guys not only as musicians but as people
wow they actually got em all at once
Rare!
they need to get Dave back.
Dave is a piece of shit.
Dave IS a piece of shit... fuck dave..
I still miss David =(
Head's hilarious, glad the dude's back with his signature sound vibe.
Does anyone else love jons voice.. like it so soothing lol
I just love Jon in general. I think my favorite members of Korn though are Brian and James! They inspired me to start playing guitar when I was a teenager.
The older these guys get the more interesting I find what they have to say in interviews.
Ofcourse. The older you get the smarter and wiser you get, having more things to say
@@Cheaps928 nah there are some dumb old mofos out there that swear they are wise but are also the ones who have no knowledge or respect for modern day styles/revolutions and social injustices, man :(
Right, I agree. That is why I generally always lose respect for the nostalgia fans who just say they want Korn to "do meth again" so they can make albums like they used to haha...I hate that sort of attitude, In my opinion Korns albums haven't gotten worse as they have got older.
Oh my God could you imagine Head walking around in Nashville.. lol
Kiley Corwin I know right!
not hard to believe nashville is a killer city only 6 hours from me been there quite a few times, it's weird because when he posts stuff on instagram about snow and stuff it's eerie knowing we're getting the same crap he is.
Kiley Corwin I met him in Franklin (about 20 minutes from Nashville) at a showing of The Fault in Our Stars and it was definitely odd to see a dude in dreads walking around lol
You must never been their, i live here he blends in easy here..
lol
My heart just completely melts when they talk about their kids, they look so happy and proud ^__^
Fieldy and his Sponge Bob tattoo lmao
Яaven Caster lmao
I always liked Fieldy’s train tattoo
Left arm is the Krusty Crab right?
Jonathan looks so good and sounds so much better now. I mean ebeyone does when there sober...but its just incredible to see how in older interviews the anxiety he had like always playing with his hair and fidgeting....now he seems even more confident and his vocals have been so steonbg the last couple albums
yeah! Jonathan looks really GOOD! WOW!
Those people are amazing. Specially if you meet them in real life. So humble and nice.
Great interview. KoRn has been my favorite band now for over 20 years and I love them just as much today as I did the first time I ever heard them back in 1994. So happy for these guys. They deserve the level they're at today. :)
Awesome interview. I see you in every Korn song or interview, when you are a Korn fan it's like that i think.
Kornfans for ever men!
Sam here man, still my favorite band , i am listening to them since i was 15 , now i am 30 :)
curious, did you like the "The Path of Totality" album?
that album is good, i like that idea, mixing nu metal with dubstep.. they were experimenting some new stuff and why not..and you didn't like that album?
you are everywhere on facebook now you are everywhere here go away ahahah jokin
Really cool seeing the entire band in an interview! Great seeing them together and happy. Usually it's single members and those interviews are more stale. Also the interviewer was fantastic.
Best band in the world
"this band is all about the music for 22 years", yeah that's so true and that's why they're still going strong
original music lives long
Jonathan’s voice is so calming. It is like an ASMR. Lol!
Because he’s aging. Same with everyone else
Head knocking the cup over twice killed me haha! The way Munky and Fieldy laugh both times describes the situation perfectly 😂😂
Korn live streamed a full concert when Untouchables came out to movie theaters across the country. There was even a mosh pit in front of the screen. \m/
at the Hammersmith, I remember that.
They have always been two steps ahead of most other bands. Korn definitely deserve a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame...
Brian is so funny ... I can not stop laughing !! ... 😂😂😂🤘my humor
Yes , Brian is hilarious !!!!
Love the profile pic
whenever when JD starts talk i think that it is intro of any korn song
Head is so happy.
I love you Brian Welch you are my soulmate baby forever amen
Right on Munky, The Fragile is a frickin incredible album!
THIS IS WHY I LOVE MY GUYS. THEYRE HONEST GENUINE LOVELY FUNNY N THERES NO BULL SHIT FROM THEM. N THEY SHOW THEYRE LOVE N THERE FUCKIN GORRGEOUS. XXXXXXXXXX
so much love involved. I love these guys...
God bless your heart Brian Welch in Jesus Name amen
I freaking love them! They are so real and down to earth. I hope to meet KoRn someday! Their music has helped me through so much since they first came out ❤️
i cant believe they said they get inspiration from BMTH. i screamed xD
The new metalcore sound is dope, they could have mentioned Asking Alexandria or Upon this Dawning lol
ew
Great interview :-)
KORN is my favorite band.
First album that I listened to was the Untouchables in the year of 2000 which blown me away and that very moment, I became their die hard fan.
Now, I'm 27 and still listening to their Music!
keep Rockin KORN!!!
I love them as a Musicians and People.
Untouchables was out in 2002
These guys are so genuine and laid back I like 'em even more than back in the days!
On that aspect i also agree. But man i wish aging wouldn’t affect their energy when they perform. Wish i was born in the 80s atleast to see them live back then.
@@Cheaps928 I was born in the early to mid 80s but unfortunately have only seen the live 2 times and both times I saw them have been in the last 3 years...Glad I got to see them live though and hopefully I will see them at least a few more times in the future too.
@@leadme2thebliss21 and i was born in 96 and i got to see them in 2015 for their 20th anniversary haha oh and it was my first metal concert or in general haha im lucky because around 2015 was around the last time they could perform with a decent amount of energy AND Eddie Hermida from SS did a bit of backing vocals for one or two of their songs because they basically played their first self titled album and it sounds even better! Its on youtube if you wanna check it out
@@Cheaps928 They are still sounding amazing in 2022, they're getting older but they sound amazing live still! Helmet and Evanescence opened up for them and they blew them away, it felt like it was 2002 all over again.
@@leadme2thebliss21 sounds like Johnnys been making effort, thats good to hear, because from previous live videos ive seen, He has slowly been loosing energy to scream. They are good, but not like they use too, thats all im saying. And im kinda picky about that because i like to feel the music as close as possible as they once were. But that doesnt stop me from not seeing them live again, i sure will, because theyre in my top 10 favorite bands.
I love how derpy yet cool they can all be. They just seem like a great group of guys.
Poor Ray. I want to hug him.
I like this interview and the way Korn interact with there fans that last question was pretty good think I'm even more inspired by Korn now I will of been a fan for 20 years in May next year Insane 😂😝🤘😈
I love how they interact with their fans.❤️💯😊🇺🇸💐
OMG i'm so happy hearing them it's always inspiring & positive. Such humans
Cool to know they use to drive down Beach Blvd with the rest us of mortals. funny to think i was eight going down to the beach and korn driving by all tweeked out lol
4:04 When you're so big that bands you're a fan of are a fan of you
Great people make great music. Simple as that. You have to love these guys. Honest and humble.
9:08 look what brian does to ray hahaha so funny
Love ur new album. Thanks guys!!!!!
People need to stop going on about getting David back. That shit is old now, Ray is a proper member and has been for years now. I also rate him as a better drummer.
Yo! also Dave looks like absolute shiteeeeeeeeeee now! hahahaha
I disagree he changed korns sound I like David more
David was good in the 90s in the 2000’s and now he look like shhhhiiiittttt and has beef with fieldy
David give the band that sound that makes Korn a especial band
That guy JD talks about at 5.16 is BALL TONGUE!!
Man, is it good to see you guys again.
I really love this band
Excellent interview - good to see an interviewer with interesting questions that actually listens to the responses!
Love Korn!
I saw korn on this past Friday and holy mother of god, the energy was so good. Everyone was so talented and amazing and Jonathan's voice was so raw live! You could feel all the good energy from the crowd because everyone just forgot about their problems and enjoyed the show it was one of the best concerts I have ever been to!
INCREDIBLY AWESOME DUDES!!!!!!
awesome...love you guys. love hearing you talk....he he Jonathon has the Brady bunch. Brian, I have been crushing on you for years.....peace!
I genuinely like all of you guys... It's no wonder you guys are still at it, successful and your huge amount of fans of all ages...! 😘
I love watching them sitting together, and its awesome that they left davids name out of the description!!
The album is awsome, and this lineup is the best theyve had..
Korn for life baby!!!!!!!!
the bmth shoutout reaffirms my love for these guys \m/
I can't believe this was done in 2016. New Korn will definitely be in the works to come out any time now! I hope they continue this heavy sound on the future albums. KoRn will always be my fav band
Now I'm on 9:33, and I've just heard one of the best interview lines in the world - "no microwave songs"! And hearing that in this day and age from a 20+ years old band is just fucking amazing... \m/
Best Korn Interview Ever!
Why you think so?
I had the biggest smile when JD was answering that last question. How awesome that must’ve been!
what a wonderful comment and question and answer to end on.
They are so sweet and so nice.
KORN still rocking it out as good if not better than when I first found them in 98 .
Rottin in Vain and Everything Falls Apart are really COOL... but when I just listened to "The Hating" for the very first time astonished, AMAZED! that is really something DIFFERENT, different structure, different mood. I LOVE IT so much! you guys managed to somehow reinvent yourself again! I've been following you since "Follow the Leader" and I'm still here! ;)
Cool Interview
munky with the fragile shout out. so underrated
I LOVE THESE PEOPLE☝️😊 KORN ROXYO!!!💛
Already love these guys 😄😂😊
I like it when they remember their musical roots come from Faith No More.
awesome interveiw :-)
Yes
Awesome
KoRn are one of the greatest bands of all time. Not even just their music, their music is legendary, especially there first 4 albums and this one. The serenity of suffering was a great record as was The Nothing, but as a band they are just straight awesome. KoRn for life 🤘🏼
The Paradigm Shift was very good too
Fuckin eh Head.... Love Korn so happy to hear you appreciate country music.
10,000 bands have come and gone ...Korn still producing albums better than their first . Respect. Last 3 albums have been KILLER, cd playing in my car ATM
So the two best songs were written thanks to the producer :)
Producers
I love Brian
I'm not sure with y'alls schedule if you'll see this, just know I've loved y'all sense 99. I'm engaged now. your music makes me feel young again. I'm inspired!
Dropping nine inch nails the fragile. Best album!
ARGH!! Can't wait to hear the songs she wrote for Love & Death! Why does it take so long? Grr.. :)
Best album out of their entire discography!!!!
It's definitely one of them
Motley Crue, Slayer & Korn my top 3! Over a decade now my top 3.
Aol is still a thing?
I'm sad i missed their show in Southaven,Ms at the Landers Center lastnight...I heard they were awesome.
I wish I could play guitar as good as these guys!
I'm glad Brian has toned down a bit his "enlightment phase" and he's being more himself. Watching him in videos these days is like watching the good ol' Head from "Who then now" but healthier and wiser and also funnier (so better). When he knocked down the mug I remembered the "you knocked down my beer, yes, yes, yes" And man, loved when he said, with irony, what (I assume) we are all thinking about Pirate and Zeppelin names (still doesn't beat "Audio Science" as a name for your kid though).
korn is my fav band beside RATM,,,they are brilliant in a music, create music not just from skill but from creativity...
This is the best damn album that they've ever made
´´ A MUSICA THESE DAYS BON JOVI -- EU OUVI 4987000000 TRILOES==NO MESMO DIA
So I happen to be related to Nick Raskulinecz, and before I knew he produced this album I loved it. Now I wonder why I WASN'T TOLD.
"are you a heavy music fan?"
"I'm like a rock n' ro-
I'm like a rock n' roll-
I'm like a music girl."
he asked if you're a heavy music fan
'@12:35 'They're not as jaded overTHUR'' xD
Willeke Jon's like that. One of the heaviest vocalists, and the softest spoken person in the world.
Head the "hyper toddler"! hahaha
They should get Head to do some songs. He's sure got the vocals for it! Listening to Love and Death, I'm flabergasted that they just wasted his talents on guitar all these years (aside from the very occasional backround vocals), lol.
I mean, he does KILL it on guitar. But I mean, he has a total METAL voice as well. (Can't edit comments on my Kindle)
Ampwich I love his voice too but he uses autotune but I own every song from his solo project save me from myself and love and death
Nate Klug he doesn’t use auto tune it’s called back up singer
He sang the chorus in "lies" from the first album
I like the way Brian Welch hairs swinging like the window curtains.
I can't stop staring at his bushy Long fluffy radient glossy Matlocs dreads hairs hairs.
I want to see the song punishment time live!
I wanna see paranoid and aroused live
pantera is my favorite band but i love this band
Rage against the machine also preformed at Woodstock 99 lol
JD have a perfect Body Language,
Shoutout to bring me the horizon!! That's wassup!
i still wanna hear what they brought to jon
22:04 I f***ing knew they were going to say woodstock LOL!!
estarei ouvindo o pegadas de andreas´kissesr na 89 fm,, entrevista com joao gordo --agora
