I immediately started obsessing over Victoria’s Secret models and how to become one. This was a dangerous habit because as a black girl who isn’t that skinny, I’m worlds apart from most of those girls in a lot of aspects. I was even considering getting a nose job because of my ‘ethnic’ nose. They are the top of the top in the industry and trying to imitate them was only damaging for myself, since I’m a total beginner. I don’t even know how to explain this but every single day at work my coworkers and passengers ask me if I’m a model. I’m not but lately I’ve been thinking about it. One of my coworkers is a model and he advised me to go to his agency and stuff but the thing is... I’m 1,73 cm (5’8’ I guess) and my current weight is 61/62kg. I’m so scared to even try because I have some stretch marks and my feet are damn ugly because of the shoes I have to use at work (airport life!). Hi Skylar, stretch marks shouldn't affect your modeling career. Models wear face and body makeup during shoots after all. You can do modeling part time while you're in school if that's what your mom is concerned about

I’m 4’10 and people always say I should be a model but I was thought I was too short but so many people in my family and others say I should model. I was always interesting but I would always see tall or plus size models but never short ones. Modeling should be rep everyone .
