Oak wheels are made of urethane and only urethane, it's just a harder type of urethane :)

@@Kaiju_laactual skateboard wheels are made with pure urethane and polyurethane. They are both urethane so technically oaks are the more realistic wheels
I've used Oak RV2s for 2 years now. They've just gotten smoother, I've used them Outside, Indoors, in Dentist's. Everywhere. I love them so much. I need to pick up a pair of joycults to compare. WYSOCKI....mine got MASSIVE flatspots from using them once outside. They didn't get smooth after using them indoors for a couple weeks. Wysocki street shape has been my least favorite wheel.
Both wheels are both amazing and it truly comes down to preference
Personally I like “boxy” looking wheels.

honestly for me as there both urethane wheels it comes down to shape. Oak wheels offer many shapes and colors that accurately replicate different types of skateboard wheels, whereas Joycults are just super boxy and unfinished looking. I applaud joycult for their quality but I personally feel the shape is not very attractive

i use oak rv2v's usually. my friend has Joycult 70D's but id rather use the oaks. they just feel better xD

The closest to real skateboard wheels I know of are oaks, joycults, wysocki, and what about rool? I think all these wheels are made from urethane right?
Rool makes Urethane and Plastic I think.
The ywheels are very relistic,besides made of urethane,they have duouble bearings and a realistic shape

Chalky was actually an amazing description.
A great comparison to make is oaks feel like rubber bands, as he said chalky but the joycults feel more like bouncy balls

I use rv2vs, they were my first urethane wheels, but my friend has some joycults and hes gonna let me try them, so idk which I like most, but I do reaaaalllyyyy like the oaks.
Joycult Urethane is very similar to the chemical composition of Bones STF wheels. Oaks have a very similar composition and feel to Ricta wheels original formula. I love them both, but mostly ride Joys!

I've been riding Oaks for a few Months now and I gotta say, they for some reason barely moove anymore. I tried cleaning it (even tky had a go on cleaning them) and it didn't get a whole lot better ... Also I seem to be one of the only people who flatspotted an Oak. But I still love those wheels. Probably gonna try cleaning them thoroughly one last time and if that doesn't work I'm gonna by a new set
The bearing is probably popped out of socket just use the not screwdriver side of the tool and push towards the side closest to the truck

have you ever tried to see what exodus wheels are like? I'm getting a red pair, I have a prep 32mm skull deck and I'm getting prep 29 white trucks with those red wheels, what would your opinion be for a low priced gear? also love your vids, thanks for replying

When I got my 70D they were not smooth at all, I'm not getting them again tell me if I just need to wear them in or they just waisted my money
You should’ve gotten 60d but if you like smooth wheels get winklers but there plastic

Nope my blackriver wheels used to pop out and i upgraded to oaks they r bomb and even after like half a year they still shred

Yeah, they are grippy, and they are actualy softer than you would think, my bearings were great in them as well.

My bearings didn’t slip at all, and I did plenty of power slides, the rv2vs are the ones I got, they were a little smaller that I thought though. A little smaller than flat face G4’s.
